Obama vs. Biden

I'd like for you two to go post in Burgold's thread about why you support him. Only one person, a mod, has backed him (very well) up.

It be nice to see. Somehow I doubt many of you can do it.

Not sure what thread you're talking about, but for the life of me, I don't know how anyone can support an empty suit like Obama. He is the most unqualified presidential candidate in my lifetime.

Biden has "foot-in-mouth" disease and Obama is horrible without a script or prepared speech in front of him. Bill Clinton he is not. I think McCain tears him a new a-hole in the upcoming debates.

There is no way McCain, with his mental lapses, tears anything up. He's too old and not sharp enough. This will be highlighted during the debates, guarantee. If anything, he will cause his own destruction when debating Obama. Can't wait.

McCain blew away Obama in the Saddleback forum that Rick Warren hosted. He was sharp, concise, and confident with his responses. Obama came off as a bumbling idiot on most of his responses. The guy is simply atrocious without a prepared script in front of him. And what's up with the constant 'uhhhhhh' 'uhhhhhhhh' noises he makes when he speaks. Sounds like a hockey player being interviewed.

Someone appears to have convinced you that carefully considering a question and giving a thoughtful nuanced answer is a sign of stupidity.

After all, that's what everyone who has ever dealt with Obama has said about him. He's just kind of dumb. ;)

It is very easy to be sharp and concise if all you are saying is "POW."

I personally thought Obama did very well in Saddleback. He did an excellent job getting at the core of issues.

you, MY FRIEND, are clearly seeing it the way you want to see it. I'm talking debates here, not interviews where he knows the questions before they are asked. Seriously that's all McCain did was repeat talking points.

Hardly impressive.

Sounds like you're really talking about Bush. McLame isn't great talker. He sounds and looks like he's about to give out of breath. :snore:

Stop hatin on Obama!

uhhhhhh, uhhhhhhh, uhhhhhhhh, uhhhhhhhhh .... I disagree.

(that is an example of a thoughtful, nuanced response) :silly:

NM - I'm trying to stay out of politics for the day, at least on here.

I enjoy your repeated postings characterizing Obama as slow on the uptake. It is a powerful mythology that has clearly taken root among some on the right.

It isn't true, of course, no more true than the idea that McCain is senile that is propagated by some on the far left.

hmmm, it's interesting then that you didn't specifically comment on this post in this thread:

"There is no way McCain, with his mental lapses, tears anything up. He's too old and not sharp enough."

Oh well.
