GOSKINS_08
What do you think? These 2 games could easily go either way, and will be 2 of the toughest games of the season..And obviously will be huge for how we do this season, start fast and we're looking at 10+ wins..Start slow, and who knows. skinfan2k
Thats the thing about the first two games. I really dont see where we come out 1-1. I really see either of the above situations.

I see 1-1 as the most likely. Win at home and lose on the road is the most likely scenario. As much as I'd love to say we'll go 2-0 winning in NY is always tough. hail2skins
We'll actually be 3-0 if we beat NYG and NO, because AZ always sucks and will just forfeit

HLF
Winning in NY is tough for NY, 1-1 would be nice. True story. They struggled all year last season at home. Im not scared of NY or NO but 1-1 is more likely then 0-2.
revallenjr
If we lose the first game, 0-2 is more likely. If we win the first game, then 2-0 is more likely. We just wont really know until after the we play that first game. Personally I like our chances, because of what Zorn is having to go through with 5 preseason games, One of them being the Hall of Fame game, and another one being the Brett Favre circus. The team should do well in in N.Y. I say 2-0.
BleedBNG
2-0. If it's 1-1... we beat the Saints.
iMeast
The Redskins schedule seems so tough this year .. while the Patriots have the easiest schedule in the league ... again. I guess that is what you get when you are in the toughest division in the league. HTTR

jaydub
If we loose anything it will be to Saints. And thats IF. We should have beet the Giants in the 1st game last year. Why are the Giants so tough this year? Eli will struggle again and they will miss Stahan and Shockey. Bottom line..... 2 and 0 baby!!!
TheGoodBits
Sept. 4, the Redskins are going to pound the Giants into the dirt. At least a 20 point win, maybe 30 or so. Super Bowl champs will soon realize that last season is over. Oh yeah, 2-0.
BoRnAndRaiSedSkinsFan
We should start 3-0 in my opinion. I don't think the Giants game will be very tough. I think our offense will match up well with the Giants D. Zorn wants the ball out quickly and the Giants try to apply pressure on the QB. We should get the ball out before they can attack. The Giants do not play well at home and start off slow. I think we'll put pressure on Eli and force him into mistakes. I wouldn't be suprised if we put a stomping on the defending SB champs and get everyone's attention in week 1. The Saints still don't have a defense, so I think we'll win our home opener. We shut down that amazing Saints offense of two years ago. Man I can't wait for the opener!!!
GOSKINS_08
I agree that if we start 2-0, we're definatly going 3-0..I kinda have the cardinals game as a win anyway right now, thats why I just brought up the first 2 games.
Cherick
The NY media is gonna convince Eli that he misses Shockey even if he doesnt , so that'll be a distraction, plus no Strahan. So I say 2-

BigRedskinDaddy
I'm gonna have to see how the rest of these preseason games go, but early indications are the O is gonna be HARD to stop. If JZ can keep JC and the rest of this unit firing on all cylinders the way he has, 2-0 baby. A very good start to the season. Because as we all know, the week 3 matchup in DC is very nearly a gimme. GoSkins8921
I think Zorn is gonna do good, but there's not a lot to go by and it's really hard to tell. With a new coach that we know so little about I don't see how you can really look at those two games and say 2-0 is more likely than 0-2.
TANAMAN
I believe we go 2-0. I don't see what's the big deal about the Giants this year. I truly believe they'll be extremely average at best (8-8). I do understand that they're the returning champs but that doesn't mean they're still good. I can't see Eli all of a sudden continuing what he did in the Post Season last year, I think he'll again be the same inconsistent QB that he's always been. And that great defense lost three key starters in OLB Kawika Mitchell, S Gibril Wilson, & most importantly DE Michael Strahan. I understand that Justin Tuck is supposed to slide into Strahan's spot. But with Tuck you have to remember that he attained most of his 10 sacks last year playing DT on passing downs and using his speed against OG's who don't normally face the speed of DE's, not to mention the attention that Strahan and Osi were attracting on the outside opening things up for him. But he won't have that advantage this year, and their DT's don't do much in the way of pass rushing, which is why Tuck was put in there on passing downs. Tuck played in 20 games as a pro prior to last year and had 1 career sack. So now that he's going to be a focus of opposing offenses as an every down DE facing OT's, he probably won't repeat last year's results and I actually believe he'll struggle at times. Meaning Osi will see more double teams and TE's to his side. So i really don't see that amazing pass rush repeating itself this year, and their secondary especially with the loss of Gibril Wilson should be exposed for what they are which is average. Not to mention that the Giants historically start slow and play poorly at home. The saints will however IMO be a challenge, I see them being a tough team this year. But coming off an emotional Conference win over the defending SB champs and in our home opener we will find a way to win. SO 2-0 BABY!!! deejaydana
If we lose the first game, 0-2 is more likely. If we win the first game, then 2-0 is more likely. This is the same rationale used by gamblers in Vegas who see the LCD board at the roulette wheel with the last 12 winning #'s being red and then betting on black thinking the odds are in their favor. In other words, it's completely illogical and statistically w/o any basis in probability. Just my two cents.

If we lose the first it's impossible to go 2-0.
Fifty Gut
No way in hell NO comes into our house and beats us in our season opener. The stadium is gonna be rockin, especially if we embarrass the Ants.
PortisBetts
I have confidence in zorn and i really dont like when we lose so to say id be happy with a 1-1 record would be a lie. I want 16-0, probably wont happen but the only thing ill be truly happy with is being above 500 all season instead of scraping by at the end of the season. That would be a welcome change
L30L
2-0. We are better than the Giants and the Saints, who have a great team btw, won't win because we will be in FedEx.
