Hubbs
See that's exactly what I DON'T get. On NFL, ESPN, Sirius NFL whatever...for the last two weeks when I hear the name Favre I change the station. I can't imagine that there aren't millions of other doing the same thing out of the same frustration and annoyance. So where do the ratings come from? Are there really that many insipid people? Yes. Or, to put it another way - if their ratings were going down with the avalanche of Favre coverage, you don't honestly believe they'd keep pumping it and losing money, do you? Obviously you're right. But while I'm ranting I'm also sick and tired of that freaking U2 song. I don't ever want to hear it again. Ever.
Brandon Lloyd Christmas
It's simply disgusting to have ESPN flapping their jaws about Favre during the HOF introduction. I know it's just getting started, but I haven't seen the NFL Network giving this Favre crap any face time during their coverage. Props to the NFL Network not allowing the Green Bay Drama Queen overshadow todays events. hell has frozen over, i 100% agree with TK. **** brett favre. NFLAnalyzer
Why is the Commissioner even involved? He wants Favre to come back? I heard something about him saying that if the Packers or Favre don't make a decision soon he WILL.

Voice_of_Reason
I actually was really dissapointed not to have the introduction of the existing hall of famers broadcast on either network. I had to go do something tonight so I Tivoed both the ESPN and NFL Network coverages, and was listening to it on the radio in the car for a while. The radio broadcast had Boomer introducing all of the HOFers and I really wanted to see that. You don't get to see these people very often. Shrug. the coverage on both networks sucked. I also thought that Mort looked completely uncomfortable talking about the Favre thing. He looked like he really wanted to be someplace else, or covering something else. My guess is that some suite thought this would be a good idea, but I don't know why...
jbone
Chris Berman looked really uncomfortable introducing the Redskin enshrinees, I can only imagine what Colin Coward (sp?) has to say about them Monday morning. Cowherd is a dingdong. He'll probably say something negative about 'Skins fans, that we're obsessed, etc. He called Monk a "compiler" as in "he lasted long enough, obviously he's going to have good numbers." Whatever. Screw him. Somebody should call in and ask if ~15 years after he retires from the radio, 15,000 of his fans would show up to honor him. Answer: No. So he should just shut his damn trap. FanboyOf91
If there is a just God, the Redskins will meet the Packers in the playoffs. And LaRon Landry will "retire" Favre in a way only Redskins fans can appreciate.
Sonny9TD
NFLN is definitely the place to be. I knew ESPN wouldn't be able to help themselves. Minimal Favre talk on NFLN. Cool pictureof Larry Brown as your Avatar. Larry Brown was an old steel worker with bad knees who was one of the best runners to grace the game. Hail! to Larry Brown. DButz65
I blame the dumb ***** PACKERS for all for this. Why? Because they think Rogers can actually lead a team when he hasnt proven anything yet. If they would of just welcomed Favre back, we wouldnt be hearing his name so much. I hope GB goes 0-16 this year so they look like complete fools! I hope GB goes 0-16 this year so they look like complete fools! How the hell can you blame the Packers for this? It's all on the Drama Queen. She's the one who year in and year out has "to think about her future and what she's going to do". It's her fault that Rogers was drafted in the first place since she refused to give the Packers an answer on whether or not she was coming back in 05 so the Packers had to think about the future and go with Rogers. She's the one who....you know......retired earlier in the year. So the Packers are now at fault for planning to go with Rogers all this time but because the Drama Queen changes her mind.....yet again....they need to drop all their plans to accommodate the Drama Queen's latested reversal? Personally I want them to ship her off to the Jets and let her get pounded into retirement once and for all while playing for a last place team.
