TK
It's simply disgusting to have ESPN flapping their jaws about Favre during the HOF introduction. I know it's just getting started, but I haven't seen the NFL Network giving this Favre crap any face time during their coverage. Props to the NFL Network not allowing the Green Bay Drama Queen overshadow todays events.

That one coach, Mooch(?) is in love with Brett Farve.
Davethegolfguy
I totally agree. How about a little respect. I just hope some drama queen stirs up enough stuff when Farve gets inducted that they are talking about something other than the inductees. Walking Deadman
It's been discussed on NFLN, but they've kept it minimal (thank God). This is not Brett Favre day....nor should it be. Keep the drama queen out of the HOF
redshirtguy#45
nfln asked "the roger" about farv-va too... i had to turn it when they did that.
Larry Brown #43
NFLN is definitely the place to be. I knew ESPN wouldn't be able to help themselves. Minimal Favre talk on NFLN.
SC_RedskinsFan
I think both are bad. NFL Network talked to the Commish and that is all they could ask him about. I used to like Farve too...

MumboSauce
Thye broke to talk to Adam Schefter(sp) on the NFL Network about Favre, and that the latest is he is leaning towards taking the package and staying retired. and I too wish this had been resolved b4 this Hall of Fame weekend. TheDoyler23
Why does ESPN need to have the crawl on the screen?
SC_RedskinsFan
Why does ESPN need to have the crawl on the screen? So you can see the minute by minute Farve update.

Sarge
I've already fired off an email. Guarantee if it had been Michael Irvins or Achemans ceremony, they'd be licking their jocks on air instead of flappin' about NFL news The only thing that could have possiblly been worse would have been to have Madden on there. He'd still be on with mouth diareha

TK
http://www.extremeskins.com/forums/showthread.php?t=253646I saw this coming and Fell the same way you do TK You called it. Some may have laughed about it at the time, but you were right. And I even knew then, that you were right. I really wish Goodell could have put a muzzle on the drama from 5:30pm today until Monday morning. The HOF deserves better.
TSO
Had the same feeling when the majority of Adam Shefter's interview with Roger Goodell was about Farve. Ridiculous. His name shouldn't even be mentioned at all right now. Unbeleivable.
scruffylookin
So I guess you guys are not in favor of the split screen that ESPN will be going to once the Drama Queen has her press conference right around the time Art is introduced?
Hubbs
Ratings. Anyone who thinks Favre "shouldn't" be mentioned for a day is making the same argument as those who think news networks "shouldn't" cover things like Anna Nicole Smith. While ideologically, you may be completely right, the simple fact is that most of the football fans all over the country don't care about the HoF induction ceremonies unless a member of their team is going in. They may, however, watch ESPN or NFLN for a few minutes if they're interested in hearing today's update on Favre.
Monte51Coleman
If they weren't talking about Favre they'd be blowing the Cowboys.
rincewind
Why does ESPN need to have the crawl on the screen? So that you can see Moose's great line from today's game every 5 minutes.
