A freshman in management was charged with simple assault and indecent exposure Wednesday night after he was found naked and knocking books off the shelves on the ninth floor of D.H. Hill Library. According to Capt. Jon Barnwell, Campus Police found Seth Pace just after 11 p.m. without his clothes, "agitated and in an altered mental state." "It appears he may have been under the influence of some sort of drug," Barnwell said. According to Alex Stewart, a freshman in sports management, the naked man ran into the women's restroom on the ninth floor when police arrived. Barnwell said the suspect was not aggressive toward Campus Police. "I was passing the bookshelves and I heard all this noise. I turned and I see this white dude, butt-naked, he's just tearing up bookshelves," Stewart said. "It was crazy. I thought ‘Wow, is this guy crazy? Is he on drugs?'" A naked man is captured on a cell phone camera Wednesday night as he knocks books from the shelves in D.H. Hill Library. Stewart said a crowd of about 15 people stood by and watched the incident. Store HEBRON, Md.- A 22-year-old woman is behind bars after police say she took off all of her clothing and sexually harassed customers and employees inside the Royal Farms convenience store in Hebron. Jennifer Marie Riegler, of Accomac, Va., is charged with disorderly conduct, indecent exposure, disturbance of the peace, theft less than $100, fourth-degree sex offense, malicious destruction of property valued less than $500 and six counts of second-degree assault. The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says Riegler's arrest stemmed from an incident alleged to have occurred shortly before 9 a.m., Dec. 18, at the Royal Farms located on the 7900 block of Royalty Way. According to police interviews with store employees, Riegler walked inside the store, removed all of her clothing and strolled naked around the store. Police say she then made sexually suggestive comments to both customers and employees and engaged in sexually suggestive behavior prior to lying on the floor in front of the donut rack. Richard Gervasi, 43, of Phoenixville, Pa., reportedly also said he is “made of steel” while he was taken into custody. He reportedly had been drinking and took LSD. He was charged with disturbing the peace and resisting arrest. Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Danielle Malone responded to the parking lot of Bobalu’s Restaurant at 1:30 a.m. after dispatchers received reports of a nude man running into traffic on U.S. 1. She found three men – Gervasi and two of his friends, all on vacation -- in the parking lot. Gervasi had no clothes on. Deputy Becky Herrin says he attacked one of his friends when Malone arrived, then ran at the deputy. He refused to stop when told to do so, so Malone tased Gervasi. But that didn’t stop him and he pulled the prongs out of his skin, Herrin said. Malone hit him with the Taser again, and he went down. Deputy Joe Cortner arrived as backup, but Gervasi got up and started walking toward his friends. The three had been at a party and appeared to be drunk when arrested, said Gainesville police Sgt. Bruce Giles. About 1:08 a.m., officer Stephanie Pridgen saw a 22-year-old woman running without clothes on westbound in the 1100 block of Northwest 5th Avenue, according to an arrest report. Then officers found two other naked women -- ages 21 and 22 -- hiding in the shrubbery in the immediate area, the report stated. According to Seattle police, the 60-year-old woman was passing Jon P. Dupuy's North 53rd Street apartment in Wallingford when she saw the man standing inside of his apartment in front of an open window, masturbating. Describing the Sept. 28 incident, Seattle Detective Kyle Kizzier said Dupuy – also known as Jon P. Dupy – was still exposing himself when officers arrived at the apartment. "As they approached the building, but still on the public sidewalk, they could see the naked suspect lying on a table positioned in front of an open window," Kizzier told the court. "A small reading lamp," the detective continued, "had been positioned on the table to highlight the suspect's genital region." According to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, 34-year-old Traci Batcher was at the Thirsty Turtle when she went into the men's restroom and took off all her clothes. She then tried to walk back into the main bar area when the manager stopped her and told her to put her clothes back on. When she refused, the manager called 9-1-1. A responding deputy found Batcher locked in the men's room. When the manager unlocked the door, she came out topless. WWSB reports she told the deputy, "You don't understand, I have been married since I was 13 years old and have been married for 16 years." Chief Deputy Bill Jarrett said the deputy was investigating the report when he saw a truck matching the description near 140th and West A streets at about 2:25 a.m. As he approached the vehicle, Jarrett said, the deputy noticed a strong smell of alcohol coming from the cab of the truck. In the pickup's bed, the deputy found an assortment of clothes and a partially empty case of Busch Light. And up front, Jarrett said, were two men and two women -- all four naked. Jarrett said the deputy asked what the four were doing. "Well, I think we're getting in trouble," one said, according to a sheriff's office report. China Posted April 13, 2011 Author Share Posted April 13, 2011 Man flees naked after being robbed while trying to buy 'car,' police say A 24-year-old Madison man lost not only hundreds of dollars in cash but his clothes as well, fleeing naked after he was robbed when, he told police, he went to buy a car at an east-side apartment. Madison police said the naked man, apparently holding a cereal box in front of his privates, ran to his girlfriend's car outside the apartment in the 4700 block of Cottage Grove Road after the robbery. Police learned of the robbery at about 12:50 p.m. Tuesday, when the victim's girlfriend called 911 after he jumped into her car with nothing on. "She was being less than cooperative with the dispatcher and ended up saying she couldn't wait for police to arrive because she had to get to work," said police spokesman Joel DeSpain. Police came to the scene and couldn't find anybody, naked or otherwise. "The case went cold for a few hours, until the victim called for police to meet him at an East Washington Avenue restaurant," DeSpain said. Harlan Porter was caught by another teacher walking the halls of B.C. Haynie Elementary School in Morrow with his clothes off, according to a police report obtained Wednesday by the AJC. It was around 3:20 p.m. Friday, after the students had gone home, and no child saw him naked, said Capt. James Callaway of the Morrow Police Department. "Had he been seen by students, he would have been charged with child molestation," Callaway told the AJC. Porter, 31, was charged with public indecency and indecent exposure, and booked into the Clayton County Jail. By Wednesday, he was out on a $2,000 bond. The man told police he would not run around naked again but that the voices in his head were telling him to have sex with a horse, the log states. Police said Kara Mitchell removed her top and danced around for a minute in the Mesa Cemetery in the 1200 block of North Center Street in Mesa. Police said Mitchell then dropped her pants and continued spinning around in front of cemetery employees, customers looking for plots and several groups of visitors who were paying respects to the deceased. As seen in the video, which was originally uploaded to YouTube by a straphanger, the man yelled racial and ethnic slurs as he finished removing his pants. After hurling himself into a set of doors, the man took off his boxer shorts, which elicited squeals from shocked observers. As a police officer was talking on his radio, the man bolted from the subway car and accosted a woman walking up a stairway. After slamming a package of hers to the ground, he lunged at a man walking perilously close to a platform edge. With the help of some male onlookers, the cop succeeded in wrestling the man to the ground, where he was subdued. A police spokesman told TSG that the man, 41, was treated as an emotionally disturbed person and transported in custody to Lincoln Hospital for psychiatric evaluation. The 52-year-old local woman showed up at the department on O’Plaine Road at about 7:30 a.m. on May 23, said Gurnee Police Cmdr. Jay Patrick. Three officers found her standing at the southwest corner of the building. Eli T. Hutchins, 24, was arrested by South Berwick police and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, two counts of assault and aggravated criminal mischief. Police say he drove his 1994 Ford one-ton dump truck over a series of lawns and into the front of 21 Woodland Hills. Rangers for the U.S. Forest Service arrived in the picnic area after witnesses called to report a partially nude man, who at one point shouted out concerns about “f------ bears,” according to charges filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court. Doulgas Bittle, 29, and his friend, Andrew Nunlist-Young, also 29, were both arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor by officers who located them in the canyon. Rangers and two officers from the Unified Police Department arrived at the Terraces Picnic Area, but didn’t immediately spot the men. Officers found Nunlist-Young wandering in the Porter Fork homes area, without a shirt in 38-degree weather. Nunlist-Young was allegedly behaving “lost and incoherent,” according to charges. Nunlist-Young told officers that he was “tripping off of psilocybin mushrooms,” and that he didn’t know where his friend, Bittle, was, according to charges. At 8 p.m., Richard L. Roundtree crashed his SUV into another vehicle with three occupants, Dallas police told the Dallas Morning News. He then climbed on the roof of his SUV and took off his clothes, witnesses said. He then got back in the SUV, drove away, lost control and hit a tree. Police said the Carrollton, Tex., man was declared dead at the scene. The three people involved in the first crash were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Police in Shippensburg say Brett Tyler Schatte, 21, walked into the Sheetz convenience store wearing no clothing around 2:49 a.m. Schatte reportedly ate a Slim Jim and a bag of chips and downed a bottle of Gatorade, then accosted a female customer. According to police, Schatte approached a 20-year-old woman, pulled up her shirt and tried to pull down her skirt before the woman’s boyfriend intervened and escorted Schatte outside. According to arrest papers, Schatte grabbed a jug of windshield washer fluid outside the store and threw it at the woman’s rescuer, then fled north on North Queen Street. I went to Shippensburg. An Ogle Road resident called 911 to report a man entered her house, grabbed her daughter's laptop and ran out. Deputies arrived and heard somebody tramping through the woods away from the house. They hollered at him to come out or they would send a dog in after him. He asked if he could put his clothes on first. They said no. He walked out of the brush wearing just a baseball cap and boots. The 38-year-old man eventually confessed that the computer was about 100 yards into the woods, with his clothes. He said he had been walking down the road when he saw a girl in a window waving for him to come in, like she wanted him sexually. When he went in the house, she was gone. He said taking the laptop was just a joke and that he was going to return it. He blamed alcohol for his actions, claiming he had "a buzz on" and was in the middle of a relapse. At about 1:30 a.m., undercover officers noticed a man naked from the waist down near a vehicle in downtown Scottsdale. The officers saw him run from his truck and eventually take his shirt off, leaving him wearing only shoes. Officers chased him on foot and caught him near Fifth Avenue and Goldwater Boulevard. He resisted arrested and was forcibly taken into custody. The man was identified as John G. Szakin, 53. Police said he matched the description of a suspect who has exposed himself to females in downtown Scottsdale at least 15 times over the past 10 months. During the incidents, Szakin was reported to be completely naked walking or running on the streets of the downtown area during the early mornings. Police were called at 10:30 p.m. for a report of a naked man inside a woman’s garage in the 1400 block of Cherry Street. The woman told police she heard the door between her garage and home open and slam shut and her dog barking, Wausau Police Lt. Mark Pankow said this morning. The woman then looked into the garage and saw the man, he said. Officers identified the man as Thomas O’Neil, 47, who lives nearby. O’Neil later was apologetic to officers, and said he thought he was at his home, police said. O’Neil had a blood alcohol level 0.37 percent, or more than four times the legal limit for driving, Pankow said. The Deuxime Groupe D'intervention performers had been invited from France to take part in Poland's Malta Festival in Poznan.
