I used the poll itself and it's not a tie. IDK what the hell you all are doing. And no I'm not just saying it so i won't lose. I've done it like 5 times and every time he only has 156 and I have 157

when u first do it, i got that too. but now i showed u the evidence

ok guys, lets settle this once and for all. I just wrote a program to count all of the votes by name. it was a tie, 157 to 157. if you're a java programmer, here's my code and you can try it yourself:

That's a lot of code for a one/two line script in most scripting languages. ;)

open up a python interpreter, set the string to a variable

(e.g. firstCount = "<whateverI'mpasting in goes here>" )

Then just call len(firstCount.split(","))

I did a find and replace for commas, and then did numbers and both did in fact come up to 157

You have Cheers, seperated from Beers and Mountaineers. It's all one name dude. Cheers,Beers and Mountaineers is all one Screenname. Not 2.

#22 and 23 should be just ONE name.

its been a long time since i programmed anything, so that was all from memory. a lot of that was written for me by net beans. I probably wrote about 12 lines, but some of it was for prettyness. (like the JOptionPane)

arg! this is so confusing! I thought no one had commas in their name. I don't think there is a possible way to automatically delimit the names, then. back to hand-counting (and making sure no one else is separated into multiple names)

While I thank all of you for your diligent efforts to make sure we get the correct winner, this whole comma thing was settled about five pages ago. Cheers, Beers and Mountaineers was the source of the confusion as he has a comma within his screen name.

The solution is obvious. First, we crown SF07. Then, the entire tailgate needs to beat Cheers, Beers and Mountaineers senseless for daring to include a comma in his screenname. I feel this will unite everyone.

View source and copy the html. Each membername is encased in an href. Or you could just count instances of "member.php".
