Ok here's how we're going to do it. We will have different categories to start out with so we can make top lists in each categories. Then we will make an overall list. For every post, you can make TWO nominations per category. So if you want to make more nominations, make a separate new post. Also, tell me if you think we should alter categories. I'll update the list for every post.

Alright NEW RULE:

ONE nomination per post. Pick a category and a game. Just ONE. Also, it seems alot of you are just picking on nostalgia as opposed to true greatness so please try to not just pick a game because you remember playing it as the nominations will be clogged.

Final Fantasy VII without a doubt. One of the best games ever let alone RPG's. The first Metal Gear Solid for playstation, it blew everybody away. I'm having a block so to speak but those 2 should be locks

Eh I'm more partial to Final Fantasy VI and feel VII while still a great game in the series is very overrated. Oh and how could you pick MGS1 over the awesomness of MGS3. Best boss fight ever The END, and best mini boss fight ever, the ladder.:silly:

I love MGS3, but I'd give the nod to the first one. Psycho Mantis is the best boss battle ever in a MGS game. Oh and FFVII trumps all, I've played every one ever made, and it's worth all the hype

Only a little off topic, but this thread just made me think back to Zelda 2 ... what was the actual subtitle of that one?

I can tell you that it was the hardest of all the Zelda games for me to beat ... I battled that freaking big bird at the end forEVER. And it always took forever to even get back to him when you lost to him.
