RunClintonRun
Just read a good article about Cameron Colvin on SI.com. If he is still around late the Redskins need to take a look at this guy. He's 6'2" about 210 and benched 345lbs... which means he won't be pushed aroud too easily. Instead of wasting a late round pick on someone who has no chance of making the team... ahem... Jordan Palmer... why not go after a big receiver with good potential who ran a 4.37 40? gkekoa
I really like this guy after reading the article. I'd love to take him with one of our compensatory seventh picks (if they happen) or seventh our right. His upside is huge, his character is tremendous, and I just like the kid. Good luck to him even if we don't get him.
Tulane Skins Fan
I'm about two more of these threads away from posting a thread titled "Redskins should bring in Bambale Osby to tryout for Tight End" thread.
nightbird
I'm about two more of these threads away from posting a thread titled "Redskins should bring in Bambale Osby to tryout for Tight End" thread. It gets worse. Just wait until we're in the thick of March Madness. Two years ago, George Mason's power forward, Jai Lewis, was going to be our next stud TE/DE/WHATEVER if we'd just give him a chance.
illone
Colvin has all the talent in the world. Clearly he has tons of heart and upside, too. Who knows, maybe the Skins are one of the seven teams mentioned in the article. I'd doubt it, though. Skins rarely look at the Pac-10:laugh:. Take a look at the following links that I found on this guy: http://www.goducks.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=3378&SPID=233&DB_OEM_ID=500&ATCLID=70417&Q_SEASON=2007 http://collegebasketball.rivals.com/cviewplayer.asp?Player=37324 http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/wr/cameroncolvin.html http://walterfootball.com/draft2008WR.php http://cfn.scout.com/2/726341.html He was a Five Star player recruit in 2004 with the likes of Calvin Johnson, Early Ducet, and many others from various positions including Glenn Dorsey. So he must of had all the tools to be a great receiver in college but because of the injury bug his full potential was never really achieved. A broken ankle is a good reason to be wary but may be a guy to take a look at in the late rounds of the draft or even as a undrafted FA. Could be a hidden gem and a draft steal. Mr. Brownstone
Draft him in the 7th and let's see what he can do.

DCchillin89
Bring in CHEVY TROUTMAN from Pitt! He was a really good basketball player for Pitt's tournament team and got an invitation to rookie camp from the redskins about 2 years ago. Possibly the most uncoordinated and lanky person on this continent
adamyesme1111
Well Landry benchs 130 pounds more then him and runs 2 hundreths of a second faster then him, sounds like Landry could push him around pretty easily. Just kidding! Sounds good, lets draft him.
Jimbo
This is exactly the type of guy Bobby Beathard would have gone after. You can gamble that he won't be drafted and try to grab him then but you end up competing with many other teams and then you have to become the highest bidder. Some UDFA's end up getting signing bonuses that most 6th and 7th round picks will never see. I'd rather take a chance with one of our 7th round picks on this type of guy and see what happens. Clemenza1112
I still rather draft Jordy Nelson from KSU. He's 6'2 220 and catches everything in the 3rd rd. He ran a 4.5 at the combine and he's not afraid to go over the middle and go up for it. Go to youtube and check him out.....
