This team isn't really built for this idea and it sure isn't a WCO style offense. And as you mention, in a way, Clinton Portis is a finesse back. Gibbs used him as a power back, and he did semi-well, but used as a finesse style runner again (ala Denver), as well as another passing option, he'll put up great numbers. A team eats up a lot of clock with that type of game. If the defense can hand out a butt whiping every time, it could work. Definitely. Look at the SuperBowl Ravens and the 13-3 Ravens. One of the best defenses in the NFL combined with one of the worst offenses. It doesn't always work because other than those two years, what much did the Ravens do? We don't have the receivers that we all must want cause a week ago everyone would have sold mom for him so it s just a thought that I think would work and nobody would see it coming!
