DWinzit
Thanks to the Giants for brining another Lombardi to the NFCE! You did what the Eagles couldn't get done during their great run. You did what the preordained Super Bowl team Cowboys couldn't get done as they pulled their usual end of season fade. Today a new season begins. Eli blew his wad, Strahan is going to retire, Spag's is going to leave and you're stuck with Coughlin and Shockey. With a great finish to a season you have set yourselves up for disappointment next year. The Cowboys will be talked up again in the off season, preseason and through the first part of next season but no one really cares, they'll go limp in the end. Two years without the injury bug hitting hard, what are the chances you'll have a third? And that freakin' Tuna has been ripping your FO and staff apart. The Eagles are in trouble from the QB position down. Questions whether McNabb stays or wants to stay, Kolb a virtual unknown commodity breathing down his neck, WB wanting more $ but we all know that won't happen, lots of #3 WR's, skipping all the other holes and moving off the field what about the sad situations with AR's family life? That tragedy has not and will not be quickly resolved and will stay a distraction. Welcome the the 2008 season! :gaintsuck :dallasuck :eaglesuck

No worries, we will have twice as good of a Coaching staff. We lost Parcells guys for Campo who won some Super Bowl rings as our Secondary Coach. Possibly Dom Capers [3-4 expert] or your former Defensive Coach Gregg Williams. He can have Reeves. The only two guys I care about retaining is Hamlin and Flozell. Both can be replaced however. Welcome the the 2008 season! :gaintsuck :dallasuck :eaglesuck Say what you will but all three of those teams you mentioned: Cowboys, Giants, and the Eagles ALL are in better shape than the Redskins. All three teams have significant amount of cap space for further retooling---THE REDSKINS ARE AT LEAST $20 MILLION OVER THE SALARY CAP. All three teams are significantly younger in terms of roster and more talented. The Redskins have the OLDEST and least talented rosters in the league. All three teams have continuity in coaching. The Redskins... don't even know who their HC will be. But the biggest advantage that all three teams have over the Redskins: THEY DON'T HAVE A QB NAMED CAMPBELL.:applause: :2cents:

All three teams have significant amount of cap space for further retooling---THE REDSKINS ARE AT LEAST $20 MILLION OVER THE SALARY CAP. Hey look at that a misinformed Iggles fan! Wow! The only people who make a big deal out of the Skins cap situation are completely misinformed Eagle and Cowboys fans. We do this every year. There are about $15 mil in bonuses and salaries that will be re-worked. The Redskins are probably the best at massaging the cap. How many times have they been in cap hell? All three teams are significantly younger in terms of roster and more talented. The Redskins have the OLDEST and least talented rosters in the league. Really? I could have sworn they made the playoffs last year. So you'd say the Dolphins, Raiders, etc all have better rosters then the Skins? Hmm..must have been blind luck then... DeMarco Murray 29
Really???????? Heck yeah. As a head coach Capers blew. But he is a heck of a LB Coach and 3-4 specialist. Along with Wade and Campo possibly Williams it could be lethal. Realistically I know we won't have the Number one defense. But I do see our Secondary shoring up and no more Jacques Reeves 22 yard cushions on 3rd and 2 from the 3!!!!
THE ONCELER1
Kevin Kolb? Uh no, McNabb. McNabb suffered a season-ending injury last season and apparently didn't fully recover. He'll have additional time. I expect McNabb to be fine. Campbell has the same injury, doesn't he? Let's see how he recovers.

You guys NEVER been this much over the cap. NEVER. Last year, you were around $10 million over but the CBA bailed you guys out. You don't have that this year. Really? I could have sworn they made the playoffs last year. So you'd say the Dolphins, Raiders, etc all have better rosters then the Skins? Hmm..must have been blind luck then... Not because of Campbell mind you. Gibbs is gone. Saunders is gone. Williams is gone. Collins will be gone. And you will not be able to rally around Taylor's death like you did this year. Times eases all of that. What's McNabb's record over the past 3 years as a starter? (17-19) What's Campbell's record since becoming the starter? (7-13). McNabb has the better winning percentage with 47% to Campbell's 35%.

You don't have that this year. So, people who have examined the Redskins cap, including notorious skins bashers in people like Don Banks, have said the $20 mil over is very easily remidied b/c of how the Skins do their contracts. But I assume b/c you saw a snippet in some blog somewhere you know better. Not because of Campbell mind you. Gibbs is gone. Saunders is gone. Williams is gone. Collins will be gone. And you will not be able to rally around Taylor's death like you did this year. Times eases all of that. Yeah, maybe McNabb will go down again and Garcia can rally your team...oh wait...nevermind. You'd have to rely on Kevin Kolb... What's Campbell's record since becoming the starter? (7-13).McNabb has the better winning percentage with 47% to Campbell's 35%. Campbell's age: 26, 3rd year in the league, 1st as a starter McNabb: 31, 9th year in the league, 8th as a starter. Oh and McNabb never cracked the 60% comp. mark until TO got there. Oh and he never cracked the 7.0 YPA until TO got there. So, if you want to bash Campbell, you should honestly take a look at McNabbs numbers. They are not that different for similar points in their career.
