Larry Brown #43
Funny how articles from different outlets keep saying we've completed our coaching staff except for the HC position, when we still don't know who our RB coach will be. Byner was offered a one-year deal to stay, but he's interviewing with Tampa, and I'd be shocked if he stayed here if Tampa makes him an offer, considering their offer would most likely be for more than one year. Strawhatter
Many on here say that the coach has already been decided on by Snyder and his staff. If this be true who can say that behind closed doors and many phone coversations that the NEW coach hasn't had any say or input into the hiring of the new personel that has and is taking place. Just a little room for thought
GoSkins561
There is a very real chance that DS is holding off his announcement of Jim Fassel in order to let the negative passion against him die down. If that is what he did and if you thought it was bad before, just wait. If this is the case, he basically duped the entire fan base.
ADF
Was with mooch in GB for a year and with Holmgren. just throwing it out there... I don't know if Mariucci is the next coach but it looks like Brooks was also with him in Detroit.

FedExFielder
Is it gonna be Mooch in DC? Well we are close to getting his old D-Line coach from Detroit. POSTED 11:16 a.m. EST, January 30, 2008 BROOKS NOT HIRED, YET Contrary to a report from Len Pasquarelli of ESPN.com that Larry Brooks has been hired to coach the defensive line in Washington, a league source tells us that Brooks has not been hired -- and might never be. Per Pasquarelli, there is an "agreement in principle." Though the explanation might now be that there was an agreement in principle that later fell apart, it's our understanding that there wasn't even a tentative arrangement. The move raised eyebrows because Brooks spent two seasons on Steve Mariucci's staff in Detroit, and was out of football in 2007.
Passizle
Eh... this is PFT. Why bother?
coolbeans
Thats says he hasn't been hired and may never be. That would seem to indicate that a deal with Mooch has fallen apart. If Brooks is hired, I would say Mooch will be the guy.
