rm8899
I'm sure i'll get smashed for bringing this up, but i felt i need to. As much as i hate to write it, since we're getting a new HC and probably a new OC, maybe B. Lloyd could actually be used properly. I really don't know the whole deal with why he never worked out here in the first place, but it seemed to be with the coaches (whom for the most part will be gone) and you must admit he was not a bad receiver at SF. And the fact we probably wont get much for him in a trade and will probably loose money for letting him go (i don't know the ramifications exactly) i say give him a year to work under new management, and see what happens. This would lessen our need at WR in the draft, maybe develop A. Mix and work a late round pick to try to get a gem some how. On the other hand if i was B. Lloyd i'd want the F@$# out of here anyways. Thoughts?
wit 33
I think a new coaching staff gives him 1 more year. Be as negative as you like, but the fact still remains, the Skins have quite a bit of money tied up in Lloyd and the organization would like nothing more than to see their investment "pan out". santana_4_prez
I don't know but I heard he is performing live in Phoenix on Feb 1...LOL! I would love to hear him rap (sarcasm).
Forehead
I'm not sure what made me feel worse. 1. Seeing a picture of Lloyd in SI's Football History book laying out for a one handed grab or.... 2. ...the fact that I used Google's Images Search to post my feelings about keeping him around and got zero hits for bag-of-ass. I just don't think the guy has the heart in him to compete.

21choop21
B Lloyd is a sick reciever. The catches he makes in practice are crazy.. he just doesnt fit in AS Off
SittingBull
I think Lloyd's learned a lot about himself his time here in Washington and with a fresh start somewhere else he'll be productive.
tone_dubbz
I bet Lloyd probably wouldn't have looked that bad with Todd C QB'ing the offense.

COWBOY-KILLA-
Probably not. I'm all for giving guys chances but he seems lost.

cphil006
perhaps. He was somewhat productive with SF. We didn't give him enough chances. We should have known how he was when we signed him. Maybe he had a history of lolly-gagging in practice.

Thoughts? I am a University of Illinois guy, thats my college teams. However, the only coach that guy can play for is still in college. I was excited when he got here but has not done anything since he got the job, only moved backwards.
CM916
Yes but it won't be the new coaches here in DC at his price tag.
corrupt3d
This isn't a stretch. Williams last year in the NO game went up to him after a third down play that he missed and said "Hey Brandon, really good effort on that but its okay, the lights got in your eye" (talking about the lights on the ceiling of the Super Dome) to which Brandon promptly said "What are you talking about, blame it on the Quarterback" he maybe woulda done better, but I dunno, I wouldnt be surprised if he still stunk up the joint. morpheusmeyers
Given his cap hit, he might be here another year. Who knows, in a different system we might actually get some decent production out of him. Maybe he would be willing to renegotiate.
MEANDWARF
He already had at least 2 sets of coaches. 1 set in S.F. and 1 here. How many does he need before he is classified as uncoachable?

skinfan31
Say what you will but I really think he can. I'm as hard to please as anyone, but the B Llyod I saw looked every bit of a team player to me. He was always around the pile after the play helping teammates up. fight4oldc
I think he'd do well with a ballet or ice skating coach I mean I bet he was pissed to leave SF I mean...... oh never mind.
Kilmer21
I would rather bring Danny Buggs out of retirement than turn to Lloyd.
HitStickTaylor21
I just don't think he has the competitive nature inside of him to make an impact. It's not about giving him chances, it's about him not wanting to take advantage of those chances.
goonsta8
lloyd has talent but also has attitude problems, if he would get himself straight and work like the rest of the team he would get more action
