CRobi21
Joe Gibbs is working behind the scenes to do the best he can to swing it to Gregg Williams. Didn't Snyder say he learned a lot from Gibbs, yet with Joe pointing all fingers to GW, Snyder ignores it?

redman
Anyone find it funny that the media gets bashed on a daily basis here at ES, yet everyone hangs on their every word as if it means anything? There's certainly irony in that fact as it's essentially biting the hand that feeds you. OTOH, if the hand is feeding me crap, and I have no alternative for food, I absolutely reserve the right to bite.

Fred Jones
The problem with waiting for Spag is that they didn't get a chance to interview him before so they have no idea how the interview will go. If they don't like him they are back to the same situation as they are in now. The guy from NE is a no go.
The Full Monty
I support Meeks. Go GW!!! But if not him, definitely Ron Meeks. He's been a great defensive coordinator for Dungy and is well-respected by the whole Colts organization. A real up-and-comer who should've got his shot a long time ago! knell1906
Who is Ron Meeks... Meeks began his NFL coaching career with Dallas in 1991 as a defensive assistant. He was defensive backs coach with Cincinnati from 1992-96 before moving to Atlanta, where he served in the same capacity from 1997-99. He worked as Washington’s defensive backs coach in 2000 before joining the Rams staff in 2001. Meeks has worked on two other Super Bowl staffs (2001, St. Louis; 1998, Atlanta). http://www.colts.com/sub.cfm?page=coachbio&coach_id=

CallMeGreen
Who is Ron Meeks... Shouldn't the user named "meek" be telling us this? Perhaps Meeks shall inherit the HC job, but I can't help but wonder if his name was thrown in for either a smokescreen or to give heavier play to their obvious Rooney Rule candidate. Not that the last part would matter, he got the interview, why play him up?

waterwagen
Anyone find it funny that the media gets bashed on a daily basis here at ES, yet everyone hangs on their every word as if it means anything? In this case I would say it's because Clayton is one of the view that has proven himself a competent and real reporter. Spartacus87
not a fan of a pass rush huh? We don't have the personnel to run a cover 2- Fletcher isn't a Cover 2 MLB, our corners are better built for man coverage, and our d-line is built around stopping the run.You can have defenses with good pass rush without them being cover 2, our problem is we don't get enough pass rushing presence across from Andre Carter, and the only DT that really gets penetration on the pocket is Griffin and that's only sometimes.
