I like Vinny...he has made some good moves...

Sean Taylor was his guy

Laron Landry was his choice as well

It was Vinny who got all the replacement players last season after all the injuries, and now we have a good amount of depth

This is coming from someone i know who has a little inside knowledge...and yes i know you are all going to say Gregg wanted Sean Taylor...yes he did, but my friend says it was Vinny who brought Sean to his attention

When Sean was going through his legal issues a couple years ago and people were questioning what background checks they did on him, Vinny went on record saying his choice was to draft Winslow in '04.

Vinny's a decent scout, but he's not qualified to be running a personnel department. You can cherry pick some of the good moves he's made, but you look at the overall track record, it's pretty poor.

I don't remember that anywhere...i know that he did want both very badly, but in the end they chose Sean and Cooley

He gets crapped on because of his close relationship with Snyder. I think this amounts to 99% of it.

I agree, many of us on the outside looking in see, him as Snyder's lap dog/yes man.

It's hard to tell if he's done anything successful because we do not know who exactly is behind what move.

True, now that he is VP, perhaps he will give us more interviews and insight as to the inner workings behind the draft picks, trades, and FA moves.
