MWCREDSKINS
Per Kelli johnson, Jim Zorn is being offered huge money to stay in Seattle and likely will. Also the draft pick for Rex Ryan rumors appear to be false. The drama continues wish I was a fly on the wall

Truant
Ha ha, so the silver lining is really tin foil? Excellent. Perhaps this throws a monkey wrench into the whole deal and The Dan will wait till the Superbowl is over to make a move. The NE offensive coordinator would be my choice if he's not going to go with GW.
Currahee
Why not hire Ryan as HC. He could and would come over then, with no problem. Just a thought.

They are beneficiaries of having great QBs that anybody could work with. McDaniels wasn't instrumental in developing Brady, and I think he's a beneficiary of Belichick's desire to pummel teams into the ground. Plus he's only 31 years old. Sure you want some youth, but this guy is a lot younger than a person I'd offer a head coaching job to.I also believe that Steve Spagnulo is overrated. Where was all the demand for him when his team was 0-2, and a TD away from getting blown out by the Skins in week 3? I'd rather have Fassel than any of these assistants, and I don't like Fassel for this team either.

Truant
I don't want a 32 year old head coach. That's a good point. I was being a bit hyperbolic. I'd really take almost anything over Fassel. An unknown is better than mediocrity. Grimm, Ryan, hell... even Singletary. I'd look at all those guys over Fassel.
Mr. S
Yeah, I wouldn't mind someone from the Patriots' offensive staff. yeh, cause Eric Mangini is a good coach... Going into the head coaching search, I wanted either Gregg, or a young coordinator who knows the game, probably played it not 10 years ago, and has had some success as a coordinator. Rex Ryan fits that bill. If we go with Rex, then we need young coordinators as well. Maybe Zorn or whoever for offense. On defense, Gregg should stay, but he probably won't after being looked over. Maybe bring in Jim Schwartz for defense, but the Titans won't let him go after he had a top 5 defense this season.

Abazaba
Either way, whoever they hire, there will be no more continuity obviously. And even if Zorn is offered enough money by the Seahawks to stay there, you can't imagine Saunders will be pleased that they are trying to replace him. If he goes, so does Collins since he will most likely not be effective in another offensive system. Adding to that, Williams will not be happy that they are trying to replace him with too (they tried to get Kiffin from the Bucs and Ryan from the Ravens), if he even stays after being passed up the HC job. It's just sad to think of the season they had and we witnessed last year - everyone coming together as a family, which is now being ripped apart. It was exciting and inspiring to think that everyone would be back, fighting again together after overcoming such tragedy.
rlt2622
I'm leaning towards Steve Spagnuola (sp?) from the Giants. NavyDave
If the skins could snag Zorn are we switching to a westcoast offense?? If its not GW and or Al Saunders as OC this is a rebuilding season coming up for skinsfans to accept and there is no flashy marketing props that will make fans optimistic for the season if it is fossil and Zorn. Lombardi's_kid_brother
How much is Seatte going to pay for a quarterbacks coach? I know Paul Allen has money, but I can't believe that he would pay a QB coach as much as Danny is willing to pay a coordinator.
