cactitle
Firing the owner? Thats brilliant. I can just see Dan firing himself now.
onnie007
I don't know if he's a terrible man but he is an awful owner. Fassel is NOT good. Gregg Williams is the guy and they need to name him the man soon before irreparable damage is done.

Om
Sorry Dan, but you're ownership skills make even Jerry Jones look favorable in comparison.Hail to the Redskins! Sorry, whoever put this thing together, but your editor should be fired. And your pretending to be a Redskins fan might have been more effective if the picture you used didn't show some dude in a Chargers jersey. Props for the "... Gibbs, Chuck Norris and Obama line" though. Tell whoever wrote it that's actually pretty funny.
Robbnva
I still don't know why everybody was sold on G. Williams when all of last year and parts of this year there was so much G. Williams Bashing, did everbody just forget that he completely went from a Bliltz crazy DC to a let's sit back and not give up any big pass plays and hope our front 4 can rush the passer (which besides from Carter nobody else did)

ldysknzfn1
How can someone demand that the owner fire himself? That's pretty funny right there! Do they honestly think Dan will say something to this affect: "Gee...I think I've made a few mistakes w/this team...I must not be a good owner..maybe I should sell the team". C'mon now. Tsk, tsk. Things could be worse. We could have the Knicks owners..lol. (No offense to all the knick fans we have here).

Once they moved Taylor back there you saw what happened... 9th in the league in total defense this year(CBoys were 10th ha ha).
waterwagen
We truly are an insane fanbase - we set up sites lobbying for the firing of a coach that hasn't even been offered a contract yet! LOL!!!

Always Remember 21
Hiring Fassel would be his worst move yet!! He's a terrible choice and not even a "big name." This move would damage the franchise for YEARS to come.

SteveFromYellowstone
So Fassel goes to a Superbowl and wins the division twice as a head coach, and Gregg Williams goes something like 16-33 as a head coach, and he is more qualified for the job?' Williams would be a great choice, but you cant deny Fassel has done things.

It helped that he had the likes of Sean Payton and John Fox as assistants. Those guys have gone on to be successful head coaches in New Orleans and Carolina, respectively. Fassel has been fired and flamed out in Baltimore as an offensive coordinator by his best friend.
hailtotheskins69
So apparently taking a team to the Superbowl qualifies as nothing? I'm not saying I'm supporting Fassel, but taking a team to the super bowl is something. And we should definitely fire him BEFORE we hire him...that's the best policy

That Giants team is commonly regarded as one of the worst Super Bowl teams ever. I'm not saying Fassel is a bad coach, but he's got enough of a track record for us to have a good idea of where he stands. And I'd say he's slightly above average which is not where we set our sights, especially with plenty of other options out there.
