Walking Deadman
I'm just curious, what is everyones opinion on who has a better O-line?Green Bay or Dallas? I'd lean towards GB based on the Skins games vs. both teams.
Walking Deadman
']The only thing I would disagree with in terms of being important for the Packers is home field. The Giants are 9-1 on the road so that doesn't bother them. I think the biggest thing is Favre over Romo sits to pee. It doesn't matter how much better the Dallas OLine is because Favre is even that much better than Romo sits to pee. Normally, I'd agree with you this year that the Giants are better off on the road than at home. But with a -5 to -25 wind chill, it HAS to be more advantageous to the Packers and their fans who are more used to extreme cold temps. Eli's throwing hand (uncovered) will be feeling that cold often. Mickalino
Are they just predicting extreme cold for the game, or precipitation, too?

Walking Deadman
Weather channel does a great job of football game temps. They had a breakdown of the Pats and Packers games and bascially had a screenshot where exposed skin in the temps of the Packers game will experience frostbite within an hour (45minutes if memory serves). So I doubt we'll see alot of exposed arms by players today. Again this brings up Eli's exposed throwing hand. If the Giants have a long drive his hand could be starting to feel pretty numb by the time the Giants get into the Red Zone/Goal Line. Personally, I think this game may have been pretty even in a neutral setting or the Meadowlands. But I'm leaning with the Packers b/c of home field and temp. Not sure if Favre will be wearing gloves, who knows it may be an issue with him as well.

I think any scoring drives will be long drives, because the weather will probably limit the offensive plays to short passes and running plays. I don't expect many long pass attempts. Larry
The pregame forecasts I've seen say kickoff conditions will be 2 degrees 10-20 winds -20 wind chill which will supposedly make it the 3rd coldest game ever played at Lambeau.
