FrFan Posted January 13, 2008 Share Posted January 13, 2008 While browsing the net I found this quite intriguing : Lincoln was elected to congress in 1846 Kennedy in 1946 Lincoln was elected President in 1860 Kennedy in 1960 They both have 7 letters names Their successors also have a 7 letters name Andrew Johnson born in 1808 Lyndon Johnson born in 1908 Both from the South John Wilkes Booth was born in 1839 Lee Harvey Oswald was born in 1939 both 15 letters names both from the South Booth escaped from a theater and was caught in a building Oswald escaped from a building and was caught in a theater Their wives lost their child while living in the white house Both were assassinated the same way They were both killed on a Friday Lincoln's secretary's name was Kennedy Kennedy's secretary's name was Lincoln Lincoln was killed in the Kennedy theater Kennedy was killed in a Lincoln car A week before they were killed : Lincoln was on vacation in Monroe MD Kennedy was vacationing with Marylin Monroe Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

SnyderShrugged Posted January 13, 2008 Share Posted January 13, 2008 For any history geeks like me out there, If you ever get the chance go to the Henry Ford Museaum in Dearborn MI. They have the chair that Lincoln was shot in. You can still see the blood on it. It's somber to view. About 50 feet away from the chair are the cars that Reagan and Kennedy were shot in, I think the Pope mobile that JP2 had is there too. Pretty cool museum overall and when coupled with a day at Greenfield Village (Henry Fords strange town he built of famous peoples childhood homes and historic sites), it makes for an awesome vacation for a family.
