Bernstein was off on his scoring from the very beginning. Vazquez won the war and swept the last three rounds in an excellent fight. 8-4 rounds, Vazquez. Plus the point for the low blows. ksun247
Bumps & Bruises A little controversy about the knockdown in round 12, but it was a classic. Anyone ready for a 4th fight? Unlike the Heavyweights, these little guys put on a boxing match. CONGRATS.
StillUnknown
i thought it was a legit knockdown. the rules state if the ropes are holding you up, the ref can apply a standing 8 count.

That is one of the best fights I've ever seen. That is up there w/ Jose Louis Castillo/diego corrales' first fight.
TorresA
I was never a real BIG boxing fan until I went to Vegas in 2005. Since I was out there I decided to go watch a fight just so I could say I did while I was there. I never even heard of the 2 guys fighting (Diego Corrales and Jose Luis Castillo). What I got was one of the greatest bouts in histroy. For 9 rounds 2 boxers going toe to toe slugging it out, close to even have 9 rounds, and lots of action, and the 10th... http://youtube.com/watch?v=imZaiGJgbsw . http://photos.torresa.com/main.php?g2_itemId=24886 Ever since then I kept an eye on boxing. My Favorite fighter is Manny Pacquiao. Maybe not fundamentally the best fighter, but he is fun to watch, and packs a punch. He fights Juan Manuel Marquez in a week in a half which should be great match. Keeping with all things boxing... http://photos.torresa.com/main.php?g2_itemId=24811 http://photos.torresa.com/main.php?g2_itemId=24862 http://photos.torresa.com/main.php?g2_itemId=25517

Louis-Castillo didn't make the weight for the second fight....they fought anyway and Louis-Castillo knocked Coralles out easily (he had an unfair advantage of weight). the third fight didn't even take place because Castillo didn't make the weight a second time. Ironic enough....Coralles made a big deal out of Castillo not making the weight, and then he himself didn't make the weight for his next fight. Coralles since died in a motorcycle accident. Castillo hasn't done **** for the past two years.
eagleskins
Should be a decent heavyweight eliminator this weekend with Peter-Maskaev. I'm going with Maskaev with the KO in the 8th.

StillUnknown
Should be a decent heavyweight eliminator this weekend with Peter-Maskaev. I'm going with Maskaev with the KO in the 8th. i'll take that bet. Peters by KO in the 5th Juan Diaz will beat Nate Campbell by unanimous decision. showtime is showing what should be a good fight between David Haye/Enzo Maccarnelli. i'll take Enzo by KO in the 7th. (this fight will come down to lands the first big shot. both have KO power, should be entertaining at the least

NO WAY, Maskaev will KO Peter. I know all it takes is one punch, but KO'ing Peter ain't happening. Peter did look shaky in his last match, but he'll KO Maskaev within 8 or 9. Let's just hope it's a good fight. The Heavyweight Division sucks right now.
Chachie
Oleg is tough but he can be KAYOED. I've seen him knocked out at least twice. Samuel Peter has what I like to call "Ray Mercer neck." You can sting him but it's hard to rattle him because his head doesn't swivel on that thick ham of a neck.

bofluid
Of the three fights televised tonight the Maskaev/Peter bout is the one I care least about. The Enzo/Haye Cruiserweight unification fight on Showtime should be action packed for however long it lasts. While the Baby Bull versus Nate Campbell should be a damn good fight too. Chachie
Maskaev has been KO'd 5 times in his career, he's goin down tonight. Yes, I think I've even seen him be knocked out of the ring before. He's crafty and it may take Sam a few rounds to get a game plan going but he should drop Oleg like a back of change. I just want to throw in the safety comment so I look good later tonight... I'm sick of all these big technical fighters, give me the smaller guys that can punch and move. Diaz got destroyed by Campbell. I wonder what fight the one judge who scored in Diaz' favor was watching.
ksun247
Peter just got a TKO over Maskaev in round 6. Both fighters exchanged some bombs. A little slow, but still decent. Good Stoppage by the Ref.
