The only thing I could find on it is below. I didn't see a limit.

NFL Flexible Scheduling 101

 •
Begins Sunday of Week 11
In effect during Weeks 11-17
Only Sunday afternoon games are subject to being moved into the Sunday night window.
The game that has been tentatively scheduled for Sunday night during flex weeks will be listed at 8:15 p.m. ET.
The majority of games on Sundays will be listed at 1:00 p.m. ET during flex weeks except for games played in Pacific or Mountain Time zones which will be listed at 4:05 or 4:15 p.m. ET.
No impact on Thursday, Saturday or Monday night games.
The NFL will decide (after consultation with CBS, FOX, NBC) and announce as early as possible the game being played at 8:15 p.m. ET. The announcement will come no later than 12 days prior to the game. The NFL may also announce games moving to 4:05 p.m. ET and 4:15 p.m. ET.
Week 17 start time changes could be decided on 6 days notice to ensure a game with playoff implications.
The NBC Sunday night time slot in "flex" weeks will list the game that has been tentatively scheduled for Sunday night.
Fans and ticket holders must be aware that NFL games in flex weeks are subject to change 12 days in advance (6 days in Week 17) and should plan accordingly.
NFL schedules all games.
 • Teams will be informed as soon as they are no longer under consideration or eligible for a move to Sunday night.

found this on the internet. KC Chiefs website

Q. Is there any limit on the number of primetime appearances a team can make in one season?

A. Yes, 29 of the 32 teams can appear a maximum of five times in primetime games each season, with just three teams potentially playing a sixth game in primetime.

The Cowboys vs Panthers game will be the 6th primetime game. My question is which 3 teams are exempt from this rule? Cowboys & Pats?

Sunday night games are cool here and there but playing Dallas would mean 3 straight and 4 straight primetime games. I prefer the 1pm games....wake up and get it on. Sunday night just takes forever to get here. Giants...then Vikes...thats enough right there.

I agree, actually I like the 4pm games, right in the middle of the day so you have time to get your tailgate on (or other responsible growned up things), without getting up at the butt crack of dawn.

But I would prefer the 1pm slot against Dallass over the 8pm slot.

If we win the next 2 and the Saints win the next 2, the NFL will move the Saints/Bears season finale to sunday night since it wil be a "win and your'e in" for the Saints.

... and if the Jints drop their final three (Skins, at Bills, Pats) and we've won in Minneapolis, you can bet that our game against Dallas goes to 1615 (4:15pm) because a win against the Pokes it would give us the divisional tiebreaker over the Jints.

Don't underestimate Buffalo, they've been playing teams pretty tough. It will be interesting to see how they play at Cleveland on Sunday ...

cheers

I think that is better for us, if we sit around and wonder what the Saints are gonna do it will be distracting, i would rather us not know and just have to win out and then let the cards fall as they will.

Yeah, it's always better and getting Saints-Bears moved to the night game would help since the latest we would kick off is 1615 because Dallas has hit their maximum prime time appearances.

I don't think they can move the Skins-Boys game to primetime. Even if the Cowboys could play another night game, even though it's a rivalry game, it likely won't be the best matchup that week, since it's Dallas might have it wrapped up by then, and they won't play their starters much.

I do agree that the Saints-Bears game may be moved though, if NO wins their next two.
