endzone_dave
I currently have Cox cable tv I just noticed that FIOS TV now offers Comcast Sports HD in their line-up. I'd love to be able to watch the Caps and Wizards in HD. Just a couple of questions: 1. Has anyone heard if Cox is close to getting Comcast Sport in HD? 2. Can anyone confirm FIOS has it? Is it a good HD signal? 3. Does FIOS TV's DVR work well recording and watching HD programs? Thanks a bunch!

Novus
I have currently have DISH network DVR HD, but we have FIOS for internet. My contract with DISH runs out next month, but I'm fairly happy with the DISH HD line-up. I know FIOS plans to have a huge HD lineup by 2008, but do I really want to switch? Yea, probably. Sticksboi05
We are about to get FIOS and next year it'll have 150 HD stations initially launching 60 this spring. Btw, though important, the most important thing in HD is the actual broadcaster and if they compress their signal and all do, not whether you have cable , satellite or fiber optic. HokieJ
Don't wait for what your cable company may or may not add, make the move to Fios immediately. I changed 4 months ago and love it. Picture quality is a lot better. It's cheaper. As far as Comcast Sportsnet in HD, I don't think that is available in the Richmond area (i have not seen it yet). And I would bet Fios will roll out more HD channels quicker then Cox or Comcast will.
