Cannon2
Well it was a must win then with 2 games to go in the season in our house and the game fell on Christmas Eve but I remember singing these songs in the parking lot and it led to a HUGE Skins victory....hopefully they will work the same wonders this time around. Here are my favorites: T’was the Night Before Giants T’was the night before Giants, and all cross the mall The talk was not Christmas, but Redskins football The Giants are coming, to DC to fill Our need for some payback, and get Eli drilled. The fans will be huddled, with fists over head While visions of playoffs, dance through our heads The beer will be flowing, from bottle and tap As we settle in our seat, of the stadium and chat When up on the PA there arose such a clatter, The games about to start, and nothing else matters. Away from concessions they’ll run like a flash, To get some more booze, before the teams clash They’ll pound on their chests and yell here we go lets go pound the Giants, we owe them you know When, what to our wondering ears should we hear, Manning confessing he gets trashed from one beer, With a skinny young QB, that thinks he’s so slick, The defense will crush him it’s gonna be sick More rapid than Santana the blitzes they’ll come, and we will pound Eli until he is numb. With Safteys and Corners plus others blitzin In Eli’s draws, you could find some shlitzin So hit him so hard he fumbles the ball Then dash away! dash away! To the endzone yall As long passes that before, we didn’t see fly, Brunell’s old arm will light up the sky, To all the receivers the passes they flew, to Moss in the end zone, he’ll get at least two And then, in a twinkling, we will see proof Portis’ numbers will go through the roof The offense is clicking , it’s turning around, and don’t worry people, Gibbs is stickin’ around We’ll be dressed in our gear, from our heads to our feet, and as we see the coin tossed, we fly out of our seat; A bundle of nerves, as the coin hits the ground The Redskins will receive, what a wonderful sound. Our eyes -- how they twinkle! our smiles so merry! Those white on white uni’s, look so damn cherry! With a quick little wave, all players in a row The ball is kicked off, it’s time for the show; Coughlin’s their coach and acts like a creep, and his team just got flagged, for a hit that was cheep; So he rants and he raves, as we stare at the screen, In the upper deck don’t you know things get obscene. He’s a crazy old bird, jumping around like an elf, And I laugh when I see him, I may piss myself; I look at this guy and think in my head, at this point he’s having strong feelings of dread; Gibbs spoke not a word, but went straight to his work, and unlike Coughlin, doesn’t act like a jerk, And laying his finger aside of his nose, And giving a nod, to the QB he chose; Mark sprang from the huddle, the fans scream and whistled, And away Portis flew, just like a cruise missile. But I heard him exclaim, as he ran out of sight, "HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, LETS CRUSH THE GIANTS TONIGHT" The 12 Days of Redskins’mas On the first day of Christmas, The Redskins gave to me, A Blowout Vic-tor-eeee On the second day of Christmas, The Redskins gave to me, Two Counter Treys On the third day of Christmas, The Redskins gave to me, Three Rushing Touchdowns On the fourth day of Christmas, The Redskins gave to me, Four Giant fumbles On the fifth day of Christmas, The Redskins gave to me, Five Super Bowl Rings!!! dlwredskins
This one is still my favorite from 2005....HAIL `Twas the night before G-men, and all through NY, Not a creature was stirring, except young Eli. "I can't help it coach," he said on the phone. "That defense of theirs might break all my bones." Little Manning was right to feel so afraid, For throughout Redskins Park , new plans had been made. Some ingenious blitzes from Gregg and his peers, would have that 12-year-old face crying 12-year-old tears. "Go to sleep," said Coach Coughlin, his tone growing sour. "You're late to your bed by at least half an hour. If it were up to me, I would give you a fine, But I ran out last month, so you get off this time." The youngster hung up, brushed his teeth, combed his hair Ignored thoughts of shaving because nothing was there, Checked under his bed for LaVar or Sean T. , Then climbed under his blanket in supposed safety. But up on the roof there arose such a clatter, Eli sprung from his rest to see what was the matter. Away to the window he flew like a jet, (Except one Mr. Coles , whose toe isn't healed yet). The moon shone down on the bright, sleepless city, Whose quarterback the country would very soon pity, For up in the sky, who else should appear, But Santana Claus, pulled by red-skinned reindeer. "I've come with a present," said the quick little man, As he walked to Eli with a bag in his hand. "It's a sack, from our defense, just a little preview. There's more where that came from, and they're all aimed at you." Leaving behind the speechless QB Santana flew off at roughly mach 3 With the night quieter than it was before, Eli returned to his bed, wondering what was in store. Less than twelve hours later, and much further south, The Redskins were waiting to punch Big Blue in the mouth. As they took the field to explosions and screams, They had but one mission – to end New York 's dreams. "The Giants are talking about first-round byes," said Head Coach Joe Gibbs with fire in his eyes. "They think we're a cupcake, a present in wrappin'. Let's send them all home wondering what the hell happened." And so, as a coin fall determined the kick, Little Eli was already feeling quite sick. His team had called heads, and heads had prevailed, He'd soon face the defense that was making him pale. A short return meant it was time for the D, Eleven men bent on destroying Tiki, And Shockey, and Toomer, and yes, Burress, too, But the biggest target of all was the Manning in blue. With hours of game tape sealed inside his head, Gregg Williams was ready to make the G-men see red. Red in the backfield, red on the ball, Red on the helmets that would form a brick wall. "On, Marcus ! On, Phillip! On, Sean and LaVar! On, Griffin ! On, Pierson! On, Joe and Lemar! These Giants are destined for quite a big fall, Now blitz away! Blitz away! Blitz away all!" From the very first snap, New York had no chance. While Eli laid hurting, Big Joe did a dance. It was just one of many Jacked Ups of the day, With a solid three hours of pain on display. For New York 's "Second Coming," the beatings were blurred. The number of hits was simply absurd. After the third straight sack from a Clemons brother, Eli was left wanting only his mother. As the final gun sounded and the Giants limped home, Joe Gibbs was left searching the field like a comb. He wanted a camera from a DC station, So he could directly address all of Redskin Nation. Having finally found his electronic desire, The coach sent a message as warm as a fire. "You've been patient since the days of RFK and Jack, So Merry Christmas, `Skins fans – we're finally back." Teller
CLINTON THE REDSKINS RUNNING BACK Clinton, the Redskins running back, Had a very quick first step. And if you ever saw it, You'd surely say, "What the heck?" All of the Giants players, Used to laugh and call him names. They didn't think that Clinton, Could beat 'em at there own game! Then one rainy day at FedEx, Coach Zorn came to say, "Clinton with your game so strong, It's time get your kick-ass on." All of the Skins fans loved him, As they shouted out his name, They'll never for-get Clinton, Or today's 350-yard game!

Teller
JASON THE QB Jason the QB, Was an Auburn Tiger grad, In 2008 he was on his way, To becoming the best we've had. He liked the West Coast offense, And in it he did thrive, From the slants and screens, To beating teams with a sneaky QB dive. There must've been some magic in, That helmet on his head. Af-ter-all, it was just last year, ES left him for dead! Oh, Jason the QB, Was as good has could be, And he didn't even throw a pick, Until almost week 13. Throw-ity, throw throw, Throw-ity, throw throw, Look at Jason's glee! Throw-ity, throw throw, Throw-ity, throw throw, As he lights up the Giants' D! Jason the QB, Knew the game was almost o'er, But he tucked the ball, and he ran so tall, For another Redskins score! And when the game was over, He heard Tom Coughlin say, "Wow, that guy's good, and he probably should, Kick our ass again someday." Throw-ity, throw throw, Throw-ity, throw throw, Look at Jason lead! Throw-ity, throw throw, Throw-ity, throw throw, The Skins to vic-tor-y! :point2sky
