rebornempowered
The best part of that whole 10 man formation was London Fletchers comments "We just wanted to play with Sean one more time" (or something to that affect). I hadn't really cried over the whole incident until I heard that.
KDawg
People are making that out to be a bigger deal than it was. They played with 10 for a down. So what? Get over it. The media is latching on to it like that cost us the game. And if it did, so what? It was classy, and it was a tribute to a man who can never play another down of football. We'll probably see the Bills again sometime down the road, Sean will never play another NFL game. Get over it. Kudos to the Redskins, players and coaches. PS: Joe didn't know, but I doubt Joe would have cared.
Warrior1971
I feel this was the most honerable thing the Reskins could have done. Just like the missing man formation in the AF. I commend the Redskins for doing this, and NO, it did not cost us the game.

CBass1724
Yeah the Bills got 22 yards, but they ended up punting that possession anyway. Is it true we are doing this every game?
RFK Lives
Very cool pics guys, thanks for posting. I was stuck at a baptism and missed the tribute. I am sure somewhere there is a video with tribute and the band but these pictures capture the "Missing Man Formation" nicely.
dwbiggs
Pretty irresponsible thing to do...there are other ways to honor the dead than putting your team at a disadvantage on the field. They can't afford doing this IMO.

praise_gibbs
I thought it was an amazing tribute. Even witnessing it first hand made it memorable. It reminded me of the USC game when they honored their kicker who died following the prior season. They went for an extra point and the whole team was expecting the new kicker to be out on the field. Pete Carroll decided at the last second to keep his kicker on the sideline. No one, not even the team, knew that it was going to happen. Pete acted on instinct and it was awesome. The Trojans were touched beyond belief.
gate113
Awesome photo. This is going to be one of those photos you'll always remember. I think it was a great gesture on the first play. All annoucers were saying that. I believe even Terry Bradshaw said something like, it would be honorable if the Bills took a kneel down for that one play. This was a man's life they were honoring. I was moved to tears. It was the best thing anyone has done in his honor. Frankly, if Buffalo had scored on that play I would not have cared. But like someone else said they punted on that drive anyway so your foolish, short sighted, heartless comment is even more pathetic. What a loser you are.
