doooolz
1st off... My prayers and thoughts are with Sean and his family..My god, i could not begin to picture myself not being their for my family.. Like they say- this is beyond football. Skins fans and football fans in general are praying for you!! But, talking about football...will you people lay off gibbs and this team!! I dont post much cuz im a skins fan (since 81) in Minnesota and well, "a outsider" But Joe is a icon/god in my book as well as a die hard skins fan. Granted the team strugles thes days, but all the dumbass coaches before hand just wanted to build a team quick- and built it ALL with semi talented vets.- Joe has added some semi talented vets...but also-quietly has Re-built a team thats competitive and young, but un-fourtanetly is going to be a power house after he's gone. And yet...no one comments on that.... All the "fair weather" fans do nothing but ***** about whats going on right now!!- look what he took over (could you win with a yr removed having Ramsey and T hasslebeck and no DE-FENSE?)...it takes time!!! But "those fans" in-turn will praise the new coach when the new one comes in and wins....Heck, most recently-look at dallas (ohh, that hurt) Parcells built the team and now look...."Wade is the man" Joe was, has, and always will be the leader of this club.....and honestly this team would be so much better if not for Snyders "deep pockets" (ie...saunders/williams) But just wait for a couple of years... (with joes players) Get better Sean!!!! our thought are with you....

Please ... take a dose of reality. Gibbs was an icon. His current tenureship with the Skins is gradually sully his reputation as a Hall Of Fame coach. He has single-handedly costed the Skins a couple of games with his lousy offensive red zone plays. There are more plays than a straight up running play. The game may have changed since the 1980's, but there is no tarnishing Joe's legacy. He's forgotten more football than I can ever hope to know. We are a YOUNG, rebuilding team with probably our best quarterback in ages. We have HEART and I'm cautiously optimistic after these last few weeks. And also- don't do this today. Not today.
