VBHOGG
no big surprise. espn always wants us to lose. Anyone notice how when espn showed highlights of the Skins/Dallas game, they hardly showed highlights from the Redskins scoring drives. they hate us. Retire 21
I like Jaws. He knows his stuff. Agreed. I really don't give a **** if the other people don't pick us as long as Jaws does. Eagle or not.
mrcunning15
Yeah Jaws usually picks the skins. He really has a hard-on for campbell. To tell you the truth I could really care less about the media bias towards the skins. It's just fuel for the fire. I also never really understood why there is one? Is it just b/c all the former skin greats still in DC and don't go on FOX or espn and what not?
BucsRock24
5 out of those 8 picked the Bucs and all 5 guys on NFL Sunday Countdown picked the Bucs too. No suprise to see Salisbury go against the Bucs. I think he has picked us only twice this year.

DGreenistheBest
Jaws is the only one I pay attention to. His record is far an above better than the others (note that he does not pick Monday night games and therefore has the highest number of correct picks with ONE LESS pick a week than everyone else). I also take it as a good sign when Allen and Wickersham pick against us as they are less reliable than a coin flip.
spidernat
I don't know why you guys even care who picks them to win. The Redskins haven't shown that they deserve to be jocked but some of you insist that just because people don't pick them to win that there is a conspiracy against the Redskins and no one wants them to succeed
lavar1156
It's funny that Schelreth picked the 'Skins in the ESPN motion thing but picks the bucs in this thing.
conkev12
I love how whenever they pick against us, experts is in quotations. Hindsight is 20/20, so it's easy to call them dumbasses for being wrong on a 50/50 decision.

Jaws is tied with the most wins and has the best win pct. and he has played the LEAST amount of games. Yet he has the most wins

I dont know if you were refering to me or not, but since I posted the thread, I guess you are..I try post the ESPN picks when I remember, and I always put "experts", if more pick us to win or not..Here are some examples. This is for the dolphins game..Most of them picked us to win http://www.extremeskins.com/forums/showthread.php?t=209835 This is for the jets game, where all but 2 picked us to win. http://www.extremeskins.com/forums/showthread.php?t=220022 This was against the eagles, where all of them picked us to win http://www.extremeskins.com/forums/showthread.php?t=221091 And now this 1..Notice how I posted them and had experts written "experts"
Mackdaddydean
It's funny that Schelreth picked the 'Skins in the ESPN motion thing but picks the bucs in this thing. I was thinking the same thing. I suppose he really thinks the Redskins will win but because he picked it so close, his strategy is picking against his own feeling about the game? I don't know, a lot of people have wierd ways that they pick when they know they're in a sort of contest with others. They need to catch up and so forth. OR he's just an idiot. EDIT: Or both. ldsdbomber
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/features/talent why do you people keep posting crap like this with "experts" in quotes like they are somehow idiots and you are not. The "experts" were the ones that were saying before the season started that the Skins would be languishing in the foot of the division, and guess what WE ARE. They said the Cowboys would dominate the NFC and be Superbowl bound and guess what THEY ARE. Stop getting a big silly hardon every time you think the media is "dissing" us. It makes ZERO EFFING DIFFERENCE to anything what some media people think, they have their own opinion, screw you if you can't allow someone to have an opinion, even if it's different to your (rose tinted) one. The Redskins SUCK - AGAIN. The "experts" pretty much nailed that on the head all year. Maybe the "experts" know something we don't.
Potato Sack
I'm not really surprised. I mean, have we proven that we can win? We're 5-5, so imo it could go either way with this game.

The Redskins SUCK - AGAIN. The "experts" pretty much nailed that on the head all year. Maybe the "experts" know something we don't. I agree that everyone has an opinion and that includes you but to say that they nailed it on the head pretty much all year is just as much a 50/50 chance of being right. If we had won those games we lost in the 4th quarter (Giants, Eagles, Green Bay) then we are 8-2 and maybe even 9-1 if we come back against the Cowboys to win. So then the experts are dead wrong because the possibilty of that actually happening was very real. Everyone who makes these picks have a 50/50 chance of getting it right the only difference between a person who gets a high percentage right and one who really sucks is a play or two away from each other. These guys are paid to pick these games but a lot of them take the short way and go along with the majority to make them look like genuises. I am no expert but I am pretty good at picking teams to win and it is hard to be non-bias when you love your team. Look at Lou Holtz in his complete idiotic and stubborn loyalty picking of Notre Dame to win every week. So some experts have loyalties as well and often times wrong because of loyalties and bias. This is well documented with ex-Dallas players that are now on TV as analysts. Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Daryl Johnson, Keyshawn Johnson, Jimmy Johnson and Bill Parcells all pick Dallas to win every game because of bias and loyalty to the Cowboys. Some of these guys may go against them but very seldom. The only way they do is if they know that the other team is better, for example, New England vs Dallas this year. Some of these guys went against the Cowboys but majority picked Dallas especially Emmitt "Cowboy Homer" Smith. So if you look at the media now days it is full of ex-Cowboy players, ex-coaches and ex-executives. So bias reporting is there.
pvkeeper19
Two things stand out to me: 1. Salisbury picks Washington. And he hates Washington. If he picks us, he ust really think we'll win. 2. Jaws picks Washington. He's got the best percentage of anybody they list. Skins win. Count it.
