Not as angry as I thought I be this morning

It's a bit wierd this morning. I mean usually after a loss, and especially to a division opponent, I'd be waking up angry and cursing the sh*t outta having to have to go to work and hear cow****es fans give me sh*t, but I'm not angry. Even though we came up short due to a HUGE mistake by JC throwing that pick instead of running for the TD, I'm actually more hopeful for the next 6 games. Ima bit excitited to see if how the O performed yesterday, by moving the ball well, is a positive sign that we actually have a passing attack and it's clicking. I'm not angry like I was last week, well not as angry I guess, but it did feel good to see my SKINS put up points to comeback to even have a chance to win against a team that is over hyped as the best in the NFC. Next one we win, and we win BIG!!

Good to see Moss have a big game. now keep it up

Now it's the D that needs to turn it up, especially w/ Taylor out two more games. Springs came up short yesterday and he's suppose to be our best option against teams #1 WR, it makes me nervous cuz T.O. played him like he was Ade Jimoh or somebody ...

Yeah dude, I'm not angry at all.

If you want to win a Super Bowl in today's NFL you gotta have a QB that can get the job done and lead his team, and Jason Campbell's done that in the last two games and damn it's exciting to have a QB with so much potential for once.

I can't remember the last time we had a QB like this.

Of course he's going to make mistakes but, for once I can actually see a QB of ours getting better with each game, there's not as much uncertainty with the kid. The future of this franchise looks good to me.

i love Jason Campbell. I been defending him for weeks now. I knew this kid would be good. and its great the coaches are letting him play.

he will have a bright future.

we need to pull up the bootstraps and get on a win streak.

and yes i feel pretty good today. that game was a good game to watch. Man i wish taylor had played.

but now we have a offense. over 400 yards of offense. lets keep rolling. we got winnable games the next 3 weeks. and could be 8-5 going into new york.

i think after this long season today we wake up despite a loss with hope. hope for the future. something we been missing.

Im a little bummed. I just hate the cowboys so much, I have honestly never seen a luckier team. How many times can a bad snap just bounce into romos hands? That being said, Im not as upset About this loss as I was about the others. J cam is a stud. I just wish the coaches would have taken the handcuffs of alot sooner and we could be up their with the cowboys right now. We need to utilize the no huddle more often. Did you see the drive cambpell put together with the no huddle? amazing.

I'm right there with you, not that upset. (unlike last week) Our offense looked a little dynamic throwing the ball all around. It was pleasing to watch, it has been a long time since we played a tough opponent and looked good. Campbell played fine, its very assuring to finally not have Qb questions. I too believe that if we play like that on O, and ST comesback sooner than later, we will be fine. Maybe even a playoff birth?

Me either. I actually consider this game to be a 'winner' for us much more so than other previous close games. Dallas did not roll us up as I thought they would and the team played hard for the entire time. My faith is for the most restored in the staff and players. We have six hard games coming up however with all having good defenses. Nobody is stopping the Patriots I think but I can still entertain the notion of us winning a wildcard berth - something I pretty much gave up doing weeks ago...

I'm pretty upset. I HATE Dallas and would have loved to beat them in their own home. We had it right there in front of us and couldn't finish.

I like JC, but every time he's had victory in front of him in the last minutes, he hasn't gotten the job done. That critical red zone series with 2 minutes left bothers me deeply. We should have won! But JC threw 3 bad passes in a row. I'm worried that he's a choker in crunch time. If that's the case, our future isn't so bright.

I was very impressed with Campbell and the receiving corps yesterday. Our defense was lacking, big time. They are based on the idea of not giving up the big play, and they did. I know a lot of it had to do with the fact that Taylor is not in there. I dont know if Rogers being out had AS much to do with it, but i do think it made a difference.

I'm a little bummed because the game was ours for the taking. When Campbell was rolling out, he could have got that first down, or at least come close, instead of the interception. I'm not throwing him under the bus either. He controlled this offense and his arm looked great. He was hitting recievers, the ball was where it needed to be, and he had his first 300 yard game.

I agree with the most of you in the sense that i'm not as upset as i have been in the past when we lose, but i think it's because this team didnt fall apart, they continued to play hard and continued to make plays.

theres so many other things besides that pick for why we lost....common hes not clutch we were down by 2 scores and he led us down for a quick td then got us down there for a chance for the lead....i mean what about the drive earlier where he made a clutch throw to cooley on third down and he dropped it...or our defense getting torched by T.O. this games loss is hardly campbells fault. He did all he could and remember it was on the road in dallas against our biggest rival and arguably the best team in the nfc in only his 17th start...and he was so poised he has icewater in his viens and if you dont notice little things like that you must not be watching redskins games.

I have only been part of this website for a week or so. I must have read over 200 posts and have noticed that you guys really don't like the Cowboys. If you would put as much effort into supporting the Redskins as you do in hating the Cowboys you would actually be considered good fans. I know that this does not go for all of you, as I have seen a handful of people actually support the Skins even though they looked horrible in a few games or even after a tough loss like the one last night. Jason Campbell is a decent QB but will never be a great qb if he continues to be handcuffed by his play caller. I would actually like to see him tell the coaches to p*ss off and run his own series down the field. You guys almost pulled that game out last night...but just look at it this way....second place is not THAT bad!!!

I look at it like this. We didn't embarrass ourselves out there Sunday. In fact, we played better than I expected us to play. They gave the Cowboys everything they could handle and you can bet the Cowboys left that field knowing that. They probably walked in there thinking they were going to have a field day with us and got a very unpleasant surprise. Usually, losing to Dallas brings out the worst in me. But, this morning, I feel good that we put up such a fight and I wore my Redskins jacket out this morning and I have my Redskins tie on now as I type this.

I understand. However, these are typical mistakes of a young QB. Look at Mark Rypien in 1988, 89 and 90. When Gibbs took over in 2004, he immediately went after Brunel because he thought he could win immediately with an older veteran GB. The Redskins wasted 3 seasons with Mark Brunel. Let's give the kid a chance. If I were the Redskins, I would give Campbell a 10 year contract right now!!!!!

It's tough to be too angry when it wasn't totally expected that the Redskins would play the Cowboys this tough. Hell, this actually turned out to be another game of missed opportunities. That made me a little mad right there, however, they played great against the Cowboys and I'm betting a lot of us here weren't even expecting that much.

Totally agree. JC did a good job most of the game but he was helped out by GREAT CATCHES by our receivers. I don't think he is that accurate as he overthrew that deep slant in the endzone and he had a good lane to throw in. The thing that seperates the O.K. qb's from the really good ones is completions when you can win the game and JC did not deliver.

I'm not angry either. Jason Campbell, Keenen McCardell, Santana Moss, Antwann Randle-EL, and Chris Cooley executed everything to near perfection yesterday. I was most impressed with Jason's decision making yesterday. He really had the Cowboys defense off balance all day.

I am upset however with Pierson Preliou. His inabilty to play the two deep zone has hurt us for two weeks in a row now.

I'm kinda in your corner, with this one. It sucks to lose, especially to Dallas, but we aquitted ourselves well.

I thought our front seven played decent but wish we had a better pass rush the whole game. I think we shut down the running game some unless Dallas thought it was just too easy to pass and gave up on the run. As far as Preliou, why didn't he just push TO out of bounds on that one sideline completion instead of trying to tackle him with that body block he tried. Football is still a game of blocking and tackling and between the Dallas and Eagle game I saw a lot of missed tackles.

What are you talking about.....How many games have you watched this year...JC has done very well with the hurry up O. Go see the eye DOC.

Thats the only thing against Campbell right now. Whenever we've had theat 1 last drive where we must score, and its all in his hands, he's failed. That worries me a little bit.
