Actually its also cause they alternate picking games from cbs and fox..basically nfc afc games. This week the flex game had to picked from cbs slate of games...

Perhaps this is a new wrinkle for this year ... last year, that was not the case. NBC took five of seven games from Fox, including three straight (Eagles-Colts, Seahawks-Broncos, Saints-Cowboys).

I thought the concept of Flex scheduling was that NBC could select the best game possible from the unprotected slate, regardless of who would own the broadcast rights to it in the day slot.

cheers

Dallas has had lots of prime time games already this year. The only reason I like the idea of the Redskins and Cowboys playing on SNF is because I've always liked it when John Madden did our games against Dallas. Everytime Aikman does a Redskins-Cowboys game, it seems like we lose, with the exception of the 2005 game at Fed Ex Field when Aikman and Joe Buck did that game. But whenever the REdskins and Cowboys meet up, a majority of the time Aikman will call it and we end up losing.

This is what drives me crazy about the NFL today. They would much rather show the Patriots blow up the Bills, than the greatest rivalry in football. It's 35-7 at halftime and everyone knew the Pats were going to dominate. Their is no reason why our game shouldn't have been on prime time and it's a shame that the NFL has become like this. Anybody else mad that our game wasn't more important than a non-divisional game, where one team is great and the other isn't??

Who cares when our game is shown? As long as we get to have a game that particular game, that's all that matters. If it were up to me, I'd rather us play all of our games at 1, so I don't have to wait three hours -- or, worst case scenario, a full day plus -- to see my team take the field.
