You know..It's people like you, (and God Bless ya...) that strengthen my resolve and support for Roe v. Wade...What in my origional post was untrue or inflammatory? Unless you consider the truth to be inflammatory...Man up, and attack my post..And it is a respected franchise. One of the most BELOVED in all of sports..Hence our large fan base.. Don't Hate, just ask us how we do it... Your team is 5-4..Soon to be 5-5.

Thanks for making my point for me, troll.

Back to the original point of the thread. TO must be double covered at all times. The Skins are 22nd in the league in pass defense - they don't have shut down corners and they certainly don't have anyone who can shut down TO by himself. Witten needs a safety with a linebacker giving fairly deep underneath help. Smoot will need to keep Crayton from getting behind him - Crayton isn't fast, but he has great hands and just when you think you can jump the route, he'll turn up field. Hurd has decent moves and speed but doesn't get a lot of passes mainly because there is generally no need to get that far down in the progression.

I think the bottom line is that the Skins will be forced to sacrifice some run support in order to contain the passing game.

That's only because of a F'ing onsides kick, and the refs who favor dallas.

The onside kick was lucky. However, lets not forget that Romo sits to pee put them in position to do it with an outstanding comeback drive to overcome personal adversity. You gotta admit that it was pretty impressive though I hated to watch.

And as far as the ref's, as soon as we start making excuses, we become as bad as they are.

Springs is a great corner, he'll contain TO. Smoot is solid as well, he can contain Crayton. But Witten will be trouble, unless Marcus is on him.

i think that unless they are sending him to try to decapitate Romo sits to pee they should put landry on whitten. i think he could cover him. either that or prioleau and have laron play center field.

knowing gregg he will keep laron in the box and have prioleau playing center.

You can't flatout stop Terrell Owens. He's a big, strong WR. He's a cross between Art Monk and Jerry Rice. The only way to stop him is to have either the SS or FS help out in coverage. Another way of containing Owens is for our LBs and D lineman to get pressure on Romo sits to pee and knock him into the middle of next week.

Oh yeah.. duhh.. didn't notice the name.

Greg Williams should listen to you more often..4 tds/173 yrds receiving. Just when I was beginning to miss Carlos Rogers, here comes Shawn Springs. The Lord Giveth and the Lord Taketh away...:silly:
