Destino
I know a lot about gaming. Orange box is the ****, a must buy. Since I'm on the subject check out this team fortress halloween group (I'm not in that just saw it on the net): As for the thread title... assassins creed looks very cool but I haven't gotten my hands on it yet. Soon.... And also recently released.
DariusCyrus
noooo... i have to say, this game had a lot of potential when it was announced.. when i heard then saw that there was an element of sci-fi to it... i just can't see myself playing it.. its sad too.. i thought it was going to be one of those historicly semi-accurate games... but they had to ruin it w/ the sci-fi now i know why those enemies glow like that back when they were showing it off... Mufumonk
And also recently released. This has already been cracked and can be downloaded on many a torrent site. But if your gaming rig isn't top notch this game is going to look like a slide show.

The SciFi part of it isn't too bad, so far. I am only a couple hours into it...but its freaking amazing to watch. Play is slow so far, still wandering around and haven't engaged in too much combat...but the whole story is mostly ahead of me. It's an open world game - and there are lots of goodies packed into it. Definitely worth the 39.99 I paid for it last night.

Sticksboi05
Buying games in stores is completely pointless nowadays. You can find it online for a much cheaper price. I found Mario Galaxy for just $39 new.

I found Mario Galaxy for just $39 new. I am picky about my games, they have to be brand new, and I have to pay full price for them. /shrug Also if they are HUGE titles, I have to get them on launch day. BioShock was the only game so far that I have not gotten on release day, and I still don't have it

PSUHeckler
Not to get off topic, but what is "ME"? My own 2 cents: Assassin's Creed is awesome. I don't like too many videogames, and to be honest this is the first game I've bought - besides NCAA - in at least 2 or 3 years. I think the learning curve is somewhat difficult still. I have about 2 or 3 hours down, but running away, hiding, and even climbing are still a pretty good challenge for me.

Shadowplay
I have Assassin's Creed. Here is what I posted about it on another board: I've played this game for about eight hours....and all I'm doing is the same damn five things over and over. Climb up the same mosuqe to get the Eagle Vision about 30 times, save a citizen and hear them say the same thing every time, kill some guards........do you see where I'm going with this? I don't hate the combat system, it isn't bad, but I wish you had more weapons. The story....man, it's a joke. The animus thing completely interrupts the flow. The voice acting for Tayer, I've seen better line delivery in pornos. Why did they make a basic premis of the game to be able to gently "push" people out of the way so they don't drop they're precious pottery? I mean why not expand on interacting with all the people in the game? The graphics? Awesome. Totally next-gen. So all in all, it's not a bad game, but it's really repetitive. It gets old real quick. And Gabe from PA doth protest too much when he tries to defend this game.

The voice acting for Altair is pretty bad. It's great for everyone else but he sounds totally uninterested 99% of the time. Also agree about the interactions. Instead of climbing buildings or going to a bureau to get information, you should be able to talk to people and in turn maybe open up some other things, like being able to infiltrate a group to get closer to a target or something.
