ASUki
I will admit that at first I did not think Rock should be returning kicks but I think he is one of the best returners in the game. My brother who is a cowboys fan said that Rock was the best returner in the leauge. Damn never thought I would say that we are really going to miss him I hope Betts can step up big because we going to need some good field position. Same here...at first it seemed as if he would go down with the first hit or wasn't hitting the holes but the past couple of years he's come into his own (including both sides of special teams)!!! As for Betts, he actuall has a pretty good return style...he identifies the hole and hits it hard and fast...hopefully we can break a long one this sunday!!! HTTR!!! :point2sky
KingGibbs
While I really like Cartwright, and he plays special teams well, calling him a "very important component" like he is some irreplacable cog, is stretching it a bit, I think. I wish he was playing this Sunday, but I feel the Redskins will be able to replace him, and won't miss him say, like they miss Randy Thomas. I guess your defintion of "important component" is different than mine. Like I said he's a ST's beast and I never said he was an "irreplacble cog." fwo40
Sounds like a good tradeoff....sucks not to have Rock...but the team will be much better if the rest of the OL can go.

McMetal
Great news as far as Rabach and Washington go...tough luck on Rock though. We will need every advantage this weekend, especially in ST. Hope he is healthy for a very winnable game against the Jets next week.

airforceskins
another positive side to Betts doing the returns is that it might keep him warmed up a little better when he gets on the field to run...but it's still not as good as having Rock in there

redman
I'm a big Rock fan, but I can deal with him missing a game. Betts has a similar style. Hopefully he doesn't try to do too much and just holds onto the ball. Rock's also great in kick and punt coverage, something that Betts can't claim. This is a real loss. ConcordNCSkinsFan
Betts is a capable returner, but I'm concerned about Rock's absence on coverage teams. Ditto. At least his injury is not long term.

Darth Tater
Rock really only became our primary kick returner last year. Although we tried a few others over those years, Betts was the guy before Rock. We moved to Rock because Portis was injured and Duckett proved a disappointment. We needed Betts to play RB in the Cowboy game and when Rock took that one to the house....
