Touchdown Redskins
Well by the time contract time comes around, we'll be a contender, so there's no way he would want to leave. Plus, Snyder will make ST so rich that he'll have no other option.
TheGift
do you guys think he wants to stay here He will go with whoever gives him the most $. and if so will we pay him what he wants? We better. It will be a huge setback if he were to leave. GIVE HIM WHATEVER THE HELL HE WANTS MR.SNYDER.
HEavyJumbo85
I'm almost 100% sure that Taylor's contract goes through at least '09.
RedskinsFanatic
Are you seriously nervous about that?.....now?....really?......focus on the season man, those things will work themselves out period. Taylor is here to stay, c'mon.

Lowghost
I thought this thread was going to be about Cardinals. Don't worry about extending ST now. Lets find a way to get on a roll and winning the NFCE.

Touchdown Redskins
Exactly. No player in history has ever left a contender! I couldn't tell if this was sarcastic or not, but I definitely think being a contender will help us out. Now, having said that, Asante Samuel wants out of New England and Lance Briggs wants out of Chicago, so there's always the possibility that he's not happy. None of us would know either, since he's so media-shy.
Hailskins94
Not a chance he gets away as long as he doesn't get in to any trouble off the field.
One Shot
Hopefully it'll work out the same way Cooley's situation did.

2006Skins
With all of the positive things that JG and GW say about him I would be shocked if ST went into the final year of his current contract without it being renegotiated.

SkinsNoles21
Taylor has a couple years left on his contract but Im hoping we will pull a Cooley with him and offer him a monster deal before he even comes close to leaving. He is a skin...we build around Campbell and Taylor.
ALLWORLD
I couldn't tell if it was sarcastic either. The first guy that came to my mind was Edgerrin James. I wonder how he feels?!? Probably couldn't care less. This game which we love is nothing more then a business. With every contract I hear about and every ticket price I see that goes along with all the piss-poor play and garbage attitude I start to grow a distaste for the game. Vi
I doubt you need to be worried. As much as GW loves him, I can't see him going anywhere anytime soon. Besides, this franchise and it's fans have a love affair with ST. There would be a mini revolt if Danny were to let him leave.
Jofizz
People, stop thinking that Taylor is a free agent this season. His contract is up in three years. That's not "soon" to me.

jnhay
As long as Coach Williams is here next year, Sean Taylor will be too. He obviously loves him, and there isn't a team out there more willing to pay for good players.
[[ghost]]
Snyder will pay the hell out of Taylor. Cooley is the man on offense, Taylor is a stud on defense. We've built this D around Taylor. We drafted Taylor, then provided him a Corner, Speedy OLB, another S, and his future MLB. If I'm right, we SHOULD be going after the D-Line sometime soon. If we keep giving away games we should win because of boneheaded play and playcalling why would want to stay on an unpredictable team like this one. Gibbs hasn't had 3 consecutive wins since in 2 years
