luke1867
Anybody know what Greg Williams said to Portis after the fumble? I couldn't tell whether it was an encouragement or a scolding..
Slacky McSlackAss
He said nothing, he actually brushed off Portis i think. At which point Portis took a seat on the bench.
Guest sith lord
He should have told him "TRY TO HOLD ON TO THE GODD&MN BALL CLINTON!!!"
RenegadeTK
yeah i saw that too.... im pretty sure gregg ignored him do you think gregg told his defense that if they get their hands on the ball, TRY YOUR BEST TO TAKE IT FOR 6.... i thought maybe it was a lack of faith in the offense that encouraged taylor to try pitching that pick back
Skins2010
I know at one point I saw Williams shaking his head and raising his hands and my initial thought was that he was thinking I cant do it all. The Defense needs a breather once in a while....

Taylor's always tryng to make a play. he's done that many a time. He's tried to pitch it back so that maybe someone else can score b/c it's what he does. he's a playmaker who will find anyway possible to try to make a play to get us points on the board. that's why he's the best player on our D. SKINZ33
I would have been pissed too if I was GW. Our offense let us down on that one. The D was stout.

TotalRecall
I think it was mostly nothing. Portis probably wanted to apologize. And GW just wanted to call his defense.
ST+LL=Area51
I would have been pissed too if I was GW. Our offense let us down on that one. The D was stout. I think that's why ST pitched it to Rocky. They were trying to get a td because our offense was doing awful on finishing drives!
FunBunch7
Maybe Williams was pissed that Portis cost him 2 points on his fantasy team...?
project myu
I'm guessing Portis said something along the lines of "Get us one more try!" and Gregg Williams was just thinking, "STFU".

One Shot
It was simply a case of Williams being in the zone. We were on defense and it was a crucial time in the game. Williams didn't have time for anything else but paying attention to what was happening on the field right then and there.
