Art Monk Fan
I read this interesting stat over at Fox Sports: MATCHUPS TO WATCH: Redskins MLB London Fletcher vs. Packers QB Brett Favre. Fletcher, 32, is in his first year in Washington but knows the scheme well from his time under Gregg Williams in Buffalo. Fletcher is a fine player and excellent leader. At 38, so is Favre, who has 10 INTs and just four TDs in three games against Fletcher-led defenses. There are a few match-ups in the league like this -- guys who just have another player's number. Hopefully Fletcher's success against Favre continues on Sunday.

DGreenistheBest
That's quite the reassuring stat. Hopefully Fletcher will do his best remind Favre of the nature of their relationship all day long.

#98QBKiller
Also, Shawn Springs has 4 career INTs against Favre in only 2 games http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d8031fceb&template=without-video&confirm=true&campaign=ec0005 Redskins CB Shawn Springs has been a thorn against Green Bay, with four interceptions in two career meetings. ... Favre is 2-0 at home in his career vs. the Redskins, with a 102.5 passer rating. __________________________________________________________

EnFoRcEr_uPu
I hate to be the downer here, but this won't be such a big deal come Sunday. When Fletcher played the Packers and Favre they had Ahman Green. So the Packers game-planned to actually have a running game. Being as good as he is, Fletcher is able to take that away, which forced them out of their game-plan. That's very different from today's Packers, which know their running game struggles, and so they expect to throw a lot from the get-go.
Capt'n Obvious
Thats a pretty good stat. Its going to be interesting to see how that matchup plays out on sunday. If we can get pressure on Favre like the pressure we got on Kitna, then the Packers are going to be in for a long day. :logo:
