FanboyOf91
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3057257 The Tampa Bay Buccaneers added veteran free agent Zack Crockett to their depleted running back corps on Wednesday, signing the 12-year veteran to a one-year contract. Tampa Bay has lost two running backs, Mike Alstott and Cadillac Williams, for the season because of injuries. Ten-year veteran Michael Pittman, who assumed the starting job after the season-ending knee injury to Williams, could miss up to two months after suffering a severe ankle sprain in last week's loss at Indianapolis. ... The Bucs have worked out a number of tailback candidates over the past two weeks, and on Tuesday auditioned a group that included Kevan Barlow, Tony Fisher, Ciatrick Fason and Shaud Williams. The staff felt that Crockett was the best alternative for bolstering a running back situation that has become dire. Fourth-year veteran Earnest Graham, who has never started a regular-season game, has been elevated to the top of the depth chart. His backup is Kenneth Darby, a rookie who was on the practice squad a week ago. The Bucs had attempted to acquire Minnesota backup tailback Mewelde Moore, but were rebuffed by the Vikings. In addition to Crockett, the team signed tailback Lionel Gates, who had been in training camp with Tampa Bay and played for the Bucs during the preseason, to its practice squad. The Bucs are so banged up they might be asking for volunteers from the audience by the time we play them.
wysknz1
Too bad, I'd like to see teams at full strenght always. Can't happen I know, but it would make for better games I think.
BUCS_FAN6263
Thank God we don't only have 2 RB anymore if Graham goes down for a while I'm taking out the white flag....
Brave
Wow, how fast Barlow has fallen. He was taken in many 1st round FFL drafts only 2 or 3 years ago.

DWinzit
Crockett has always been a good short yardage guy. Not sure what he'll bring to the table as a regular down back!
NewBlood81
Aye that is a pathethic running core. You can't win in the playoff or many regular season games without a running game. Can anyone remember a team that have no running game go into the playoff?

HardyNickerson56
The problem is, the biggest part of this franchises failure will be allowed to stay on and use the injury excuse. Well I know my franchise is done and will be in the hole for 10 years because of Gruden.

Well I know my franchise is done and will be in the hole for 10 years because of Gruden.Prior to Gruden the Buc's were Eaglesque, the bridesmaid never the bride. Many Eagle fans would trade places with you so they could boast of a SB victory. Perhaps Gruden does end out in Philly to try his magic in their city.
