Craig and others who voted for restricting death penalty appeals and for mandatory sentences and for one penalty for crack and another for cocaine ought to ponder what happened to Craig -- what he said happened and what actually might have happened. Either way, it was an abuse of police power and, possibly, the coercion of a false confession.

That argument might make sense if Craig was pressured and confessed to something he didn't do. But even he doesn't really believe that.

Seriously, if you were innocently in an airport restroom and an undercover cop accused you of soliciting for sex, you would confess to the charge? I find this difficult to comprehend if you are an ordinary member of the public, but if you happened to be a senior Senator?

A judge thought otherwise. I have zero respect for Craig and the sooner he leaves the better.

That's what I was thinking.

But there are people out there who think CRaig is innocent so maybe this philosophy will work on them. Otherwise, the piece clearly demonstrates Craig is either a liar and a hypocrite or just a hypocrite.
