Info about S-CHIP

Recommended Posts

We were recently discussing Bush's veto (and subsequent opening of negotiations) about S_CHIP, and I mentioned that I'd read an article that went into some detail about it, but couldn't remember where.

Well, I've found it again.

Fact Check (a site I highly recommend, especially as the political lies begin to ramp up for another year) went into some detail about the current and proposed bills.

All of this is publicly available information for anybody who cares to know, but its good to have a source that certain segments can't claim is baised against them.

And yeah, gotta love factcheck.org. NOT factcheck.com, as Cheney once misspoke as he tried to look internet-literate.

Always nice to see the Lewin Group in the news. Long long ago, they gave me a job as a summer intern. I didn't know they did policy work, but it's not too far of a stretch for a company that analyzed new medical technology and the markets for them.
