whatmeworry
I was at that particular game last year and was so disgusted words wouldn't describe. I felt like that was the single game that sealed our doom last year. Yesterday was similar in that we were beating a struggling team handily at home and simply p***ed it away. Last year we seemed to have a defeated mentality that haunted us the rest of the year. The only highpoint was a fluke win over the Cowboys. So far we've seen two of our rivals (Giants and Eagles) pull themselves up after miserable starts to revitalize, at least temporarily, their seasons. My question is does this team have the same moxie or will we continue to spiral downwards.
One Shot
In a word, no. We will actually rebound from this loss and all those who doubted will look like clowns.
WSHRedskins3ATLBraves3
We will bounce back and win the Super Bowl but it will be a lot easier if Saunders is fired.
FlaSk1nsfan
We will bounce back and win the Super Bowl but it will be a lot easier if Saunders is fired. ???? Thats sounds far fetched. Lets just try and win the games were supposed to and well see what happens. And its not Saunders fault we fell on our face yesterday.
Slacky McSlackAss
We will bounce back and win the Super Bowl but it will be a lot easier if Saunders is fired. Thats about as crazy as saying the 2007 Braves will win the world series. You cant blame saunders for gibbs' decisions.
DCranon21
So since this is year 2 of the offense, you think Saunders will be fired???
gca61087
well it was for me because last year i drove 10 hours to see the titans game. this year, i drove 10 hours to see them blow this game. this is an 8-8 team at best if we continue to score 20 or less. i think they are what they are, and this game hasn't changed my mind. GOSKINS_08
No, its not like the titans game last season..I think we WILL rebound from this loss.
RedDevil
I was at that game last year too... as a matter of fact that was the last game I went to until I came to this game this year... Sad that both times I left utterly dissapointed. Hopefully, this does not have the same affect as last where we just fell apart.
edgun88
No, it was the TB game of 05'.
MDRedskinsFan
No, it was the TB game of 05'.I agree with this one, being that we played so well in the other games to control those games. We've only played 2 bad quarters of football, the team was teetering on the edge there going into the Titans game anyway, it pushed them over the ledge. I think we have the characters on this team to make sure it isn't like last year, especially those who had to endure the collapse last year. AAARedskin
This game reminded me more of the Falcons game last year, when we started so strong and then gave up 2 or 3 TDs and lost. I'm as mad as anybody, but I truly believe that we'll beat the Lions, and be sitting pretty at 3-1. Gibbs and Saunders need to give Jason Campbell the keys to the Corvette, and let the kid go. He throws the ball down-field with terrific confidence.
DieHard86
Similar but not quite - we still have a winning record, its still pretty early.
Toe Jam
They will bounce back. I still see an 11-5 or 10-6 season.

This year there is more chemistry and theres something thats motivating us.
whatmeworry
Similar but not quite - we still have a winning record, its still pretty early. Yeah the Titans was like game 5 or 6. Stil, we were still in the hunt for being a good team and I felt that one game turned us to the 'dark side'.
fuji869
You know that is what I was thinking before the Giants Game, the Titans came into Fed Ex Field @ 0-5 last season and go there first win and we dropped to 2-5 and continued with the downward spiral that was the 06 Season.
