GrimReaper21
On the 2 minute drill, they just said Randy Thomas had successful surgery and will be out 10 to 12 weeks. So we could have him back for week 12, not too bad, could have been worse.
dshockey
still sucks pretty bad
TGI Jef
while this is clearly not GOOD news, definitley nice to know that, if we can play well, we could have #77 back for the stretch run at (hopefully) a playoff spot tgijef
sikizler
Better than the season. Get Well Soon Randy!
portisizzle
That is very good news. Hopefully we will be able to continue plugging in the backups and getting starting quality play. Bugle is earning his pay this go around with the Redskins. Let me tell ya.
Diesel70ChipOnWhite
At least he has 4 weeks of reg season games to get ready for the playoffs!! Ooops...did i say the p word!

RedskinsFanatic
Definately better news than I was fearing, it's not the season so he may come back...get better Randy we are all with you.
milliondollarslim
best news we could have hoped for.
SantanaClaus89
That's better than what we were all thinking, at least... Hopefully he'll provide a shot in the arm down the stretch for the paloffs.
BigMike619
if he is out 10-12 weeks he isnt going to be in great shape though when he comes back. i just hope that he doesnt force anything so that he jeopardizes himself or our line... Stadium-Armory
Better than the season.Get Well Soon Randy! I disagree. I think that is the season. And we should put him on IR. Roster spots are at a premium, and saving one for a guy who's going to be out for the rest of the regular season is too high of a price to pay. Besides, he'll be out of shape (game or otherwise) when he returns. IR him..
BigRay
It still sucks but it could have been worse!!!. Get well Randy !!!.
PigSkins47
This means he'll be nice and fresh for the end of the season...so as long as Fabini or whoever replaces him does an adaquate job, it could end up being a good thing! (kind of)
DCranon21
Better than what I thought. So at least 10 weeks, depends on how he feels after week 12.
skinsfan07
at least it's not season ending. He'll be back for our superbowl run once the playoff roll round.
Art McDonough
Twelve weeks means eleven games. That means he can begin practicing again with three games left in the season. By that time, the O line, for good or bad, will be pretty well meshed together. I bet he goes on IR and we pick up someone on a one year contract. Randy Thomas at 75-80% is better than Jason Fabini at 100%. Plus its not like Randy is going to be sitting on his *** eating potato chips.
Brandon Lloyd Christmas
this sucks, but im not as worried about it. we'll end up signing this vincent guy and he'll probably come in and do a solid job. and fabini aside from the two false starts seemed servicable. our other side is still a top flight group (samuels/kendall/rabach)

Also I think you meant "Plus its not like Randy is just going to be sitting on his *** eating potato chips" cause hes definately gonna be eating some potato chips. Henry
Getting depth back at the end of the season is good. Thomas won't be 100% when he comes back, but at the very least he'll be a warm body, which all teams need by week 12 or so. Sucks he's gonna be out for so long, but getting him back before the end of the season takes some of the sting off it.
terpfan
I'm taking this as good news. I was expecting IR. Getting him back down the stretch run will help. But we REALLY need Fabini to step up.
