skinfan2k
Im not talking about past years and but this year and what each LB can bring to the table among starters. Rocky has looked extra special this preseason and Fletcher is a beast in the middle and i am wondering if MW is our worst LB, but if this is true, we are in great shape for this upcoming season. MW doesn't have the speed like LF, or RM. What are your thoughts?
the burgundy and gold
i agree, i have really raelly high hopes for Rocky this year. I really liked the way he played this preseason and the way he played in the Giants game last year. I think he's gonna do really well.
GibbsFactor
If MW is our worst starting LB, we are in good shape.
KSUskinfan
"MW doesn't have the speed like LF, or RM. What are your thoughts?" Don't worry about his speed. He should be quicker now; he's lost weight now that he has his braces off. :logo: Washington is a proven LB. It's up to Rocky to show that he can get it done now that he's the starter. Touchdown Redskins
MW might be our best LB if he can get any pressure on the QB when he's lined up at DE. Everyone complains that we dont' get any pressure, but if he can step up that area of his game, our defense will be complete.
The Rook
I'd rather talk about who will be our best. :helmet: The Rook

But like you said if MW is the worst, that's good

ucfSKINS
If he's healthy, he'll be the second best behind Fletcher. Again IF healthy, he can blitz from the line and provide some much needed pass rushing. But if injured, that changes everything.
WorldBFree76
I don't think he will be, but the linebackers look solid.
dfitzo53
Even if Rocky is quicker, Marcus Washington has more experience, and I wouldn't doubt Washington's speed anyway.
bulldog
Washington will only be our worst linebacker if he continues to suffer injury problems that keep him below 100%. He can rush the passer, drop into coverage and come up and stop the run. None of the other linebackers we have are proven in all 3 areas.
SkinsOrlando
If that turns out to be the case then our LB crew is going to be one of the top 5 in the NFL.
The Rook
Lets argue that then  Sounds good. I really expect each of the LB's to bring special skills to the party. At the end of the day, London's tackling brings him to the top. :helmet: The Rook
skinsn24
McIntosh=Most Potential Fletcher= Best Tackler most solid Washington= Needs to be healthy then is best pass rusher
[[ghost]]
Well, if your linebacking core is only as good as its worst LBer, and Washington is our Worst LBer, then we easily have a top 3 LB core.
One Shot
My worry about MW is his health, I hope he'll be ready to go full speed this Sunday.

mcarey032
I don't think that he is our worst linebacker. I would probably state it more like of the three linebackers he is the weakest, but I think it would be unfair to even say that. Marcus Washington, is more of a pass rush guy. He has strengths and weaknesses as well as the other linebackers on the team. I am thankful we have him. He is a good player. My worry is the D-Line. I hope that they can step up and do something this year.

That elbow can get injured again quicker. I hope they hold off on that for a while unless he feels a 100%.
