ucfSKINS
Just saw it on the bottom line while watching Sports Center. Houston Chronicle reported that the Patriots officially release Caldwell. And we signed Bodiford? Not saying Caldwell is anything great, but still. And let all the bemoaning begin about us possibly acquiring another Univ of Florida receiver. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3002826

Touchdown Redskins
Well, if Boddiford's contract wasn't guaranteed, then maybe we can cut him and pick up Reche?
Caliredskinsfan
At this point, who really cares? Just wait until the season start until you start bemoaning over our roster. Not that I don't like Caldwell but damn can we have a snap first?
bubba9497
As JLC said, the roster tweaking is probably not over

skinfan31
I don't see any fa recievers that get me excited. I really hope B Loyd can step it up. I don't see any reason why he can't.
terpfan
I'm not that impressed by Caldwell, but I'd still take him over an injured special teams player.
TheCoach22
This would be a great signing... Reche "the Fly" Caldwell can play. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3002826
DCranon21
Maybe he could be a better #2 than what Lloyd is right now.

Touchdown Redskins
He's a solid route runner and back when he was in San Diego he was their #1 (although that's not saying much as San Diego WRs were probably worse than KC WRs). I think he's more reliable than any of our 5th WRs at this point.
Master Blaster
Well, if Boddiford's contract wasn't guaranteed, then maybe we can cut him and pick up Reche? No such thing a a guaranteed contract in the NFL. Only guarunteed part is a signing bonus. Not sure what we gave Boddiford, but if there is no signing bonus we could cut him and it would not affect our salary cap one bit.
SkinsOrlando
He could play Igor in a remake of Young Frankenstein.
bulldog
Bodiford not being ready to play really surprises me. Why would the Redskins hold a spot open for a #5 special teamer who is out of action? I supposed this move shows that the Redskins are NOT interested in adding a true contributor at wide receiver but rather a special teams returner and coverage guy. I guess that rules out Gabriel, Caldwell and others like McCardell........even though I personally don't trust Brandon Lloyd further than you can throw him. CM916
He was one of my later FA pickups in fantasy last season. He worked well paired up with Brady at QB. Of course, together they were responsible for my round one playoff exit when Brady put up an impressive 0 points dragging Caldwell down with him. Anyway, now that I've seen the bug eyes and learned that he is a Gator, no thanks. It's not so much that they love the worst NFL coach ever as that the damn Gator fans keep mistaking me for a Seminole fan, even when I wear a hat that says "Super Bowl Champions." I could care less about college football but these people that I deal with every day have made me despise all things UF.
Zen-like Todd
I don't know... I'm wishy washy on this one. Last year was by far his most productive year, and that was with Tom Brady feeding him the ball. He's not a stretch the field kinda guy, and he's not particularly large. I'd be more interested in someone like Gabriel to be honest.
Todd Packer
keep him waya, we want our recievers to catch the ball.... remember the afc champ. game, caldwell had no one within 15 yards of him, and dropped it

I don't think they'd give a 5th WR any guaranteed parts to his contract, so maybe we can still get rid of him.

I don't see any reason why he can't.I feel the same way. And I feel like Lloyd has a chip on his shoulder. And personally, there's not a lot else that I like more than a Redskin playing with a chip on his shoulder.
pray4surf
I don't see how bringing in a guy who doesn't know our system, one week before the start of the regular season, will translate into productive numbers for our offense. Lets give BL and ARE a chance to show what they can do now that they've been in Al's system going into their second year. I say we hold tight with our guys before we start reaching for left overs.
