Why are we still selling Archuleta jerseys?

This caught me by surprise. Not even at reduced price. Brunell's jersey is cheaper than this.

Is Snyder really that money-hungry?

Wait...

Yes. :silly:

I can't believe they even wasted material on that in the first place. I'd like to pull up records of how many Archuleta jersey's were actually sold in the United States.

The Brandon Lloyd jersey's are also puzzling

Yes, he is. Go into any Redskin store and you'll see loads of them, all selling at full price.

I'm not naive enough to think Snyder had a hand in it, but the space where there selling these ridiculous Archuletta jerseys is space where they could sell something else.

Man, I wish I could go into any Redskin store.

And come on. $8 beer, $75 Archuleta jersey? Makes perfect sense.

Most worthless Skins jersey I ever saw someone wear (good original thread idea, BTW) was during the Spurrier era. I was at FedEx and someone standing in a beer line in front of me had actually shelled out money for a Chris Doering jersey. Amazing. Don't even think the guy was active most games.

Would they be able to strip the name and number off the jersey and put someone elses on or are they stuck with what they have?

That would probably be more expensive than eventually reducing the price and sending them to somewhere like Ross or TJ Max to sell them highly discounted. It's all basic economics. They're selling the jerseys because people are buying the jerseys. When they stop selling, they will reduce the price. When they stop selling then, they will consider how much money they are losing by keeping the jerseys in the stores, when they could be selling something else in their place. When that breaking point is met, they will cut their losses and sell to a discounter.
