Zen-like Todd
http://blog.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/2007/09/have_a_feeling_marcus_mason_ma.html Have A Feeling Marcus Mason Made It From what I gather they are keeping 4 RBs and Mason, a local feel-good story, looks to have cracked the 53 man. I could still seem them looking at a vet. RB or two depending what's on the waiver wire, but I think he's in. Hear that things look good for DE Chris Wilson as well - another out-of-nowhere guy (gotta love those stories) - and OL Kili Lefotu, who was rushed to the hospital when he stopped breathing at camp in 2006, said he had a good meeting with Joe Bugel today and had a sense that he may have made it, a good feeling at least. But it's a waiting game now. "You try not to think about it and to have some fun, but you're pretty much waiting to see if you get a call or not," Lefotu said. I wouldn't count on the Skins releasing their roster until pretty close to the late-afternoon deadline. Long day for the bublle guys. They leave here not entirely certain of what's to come then looks like the guys they will let go will get called back in the afternoon to come get their stuff and turn in their playbook. BALLz
I don't see the point in bringing in another vet RB. If your gonna have a 4th string RB who will most likely hardly ever play why not make it a young guy that you can develop.
TheLongshot
Mostly what I'm thinking right now. At least, I felt that they'd keep another Guard and Lefotu makes sense, at least for right now. Jason
skinsn24
Mason looked good last game, would like to see him on roster though he will never be active. However, when the WR cuts come we may sign someone and let him go.
BlackMagic21
Awesome Im really pulling for this guy to make it he has serious talent. I like that Chris Wilson has a chance to he rushes better than carter

CM916
I can see it now, the first time Portis doesn't reach 100 yards in a game, "the future is now" crap is going to start up again. That said, Mason just might prove useful to us in another year or two.
skinsn24
"I have a strong feeling that you are a tool, JLC" Now what in the world was wrong with that update? Would you rather not have it and just wait? Seriously
Reverend Gonna Change
The telling confirmation came during Joe's 12:30 PM presser: Some guys made the roster based on their play in Thursday's game. Two names came to my mind: Trucks and Mason. Go Mason!!!
REDSKINZ-RIDEORDIE
Marcus Mason deserves to make this team.
nace14
that a boy marcus. i don't think there is really a better feeling this time of year as knowing a guy you followed from high school up put it all out there in preseason and is getting a decent look and chance at making it. Jimbo
Unless Khary Campbell is put on IR, I think Trucks winds up on the Practice Squad. Still not sure about Mason but worst case, he's on the Practice Squad as well.
kevinklein
I can see Mason making the practice squad, but we're not exactly thin at RB. I also have a tendency to discredit anything I read from La Canfora.

Peregrine
I think keeping 4 backs on the roster would be a little shocking, unless they ditch a FB. Considering its just not a position of need(and its so strong) its odd keeping so much depth there, even for special teams. But I do really like Mason. jsmith2003
I like us keeping Mason, he can return as well as Cartwright, let them battle it out for 3rd RB and ST returns this year, and whoever wins out wins the spot for next season. We're set @ RB with Portis Betts for next few years so, we have some flexibility there... Cartwright can come in a backup FB Sellers too no need to keep Beasley, camp fodder there. Are we going to keep 2 TE's or 3, Edwards to make roster or Bell (who was also slated at FB)? Obviously meaning that Cooley & Yoder are 1 & 2 respectively
