Redskin4ever
I guess getting his tail kicked 3 out of the last 4 times against the skins has made parcells bitter.
burgngold fan
Whatever.....BTW Bill, you're the scapegoat for Dallas sucking this year and the last few years according to the Cowboys. now that's a classic picture. and why should i care what meshawn and parcells says anyway! Skins247
Haha. Funny. They should get the perspective of a NON-Cowpuke player. I should have guessed what they would have said anyway. Well, its not just those two former Cowboys that aren't giving us any love. Dr Z has us going 6-10 this year. Not that I think anyone really cares what he thinks. He also has, in his opinion, the top 500 players in the NFL. That has got to be one of the dumbest lists ever. I mean, really. How do you determine the 387th player from the 444th? Wow....just wow.

hkHog
"I don't see their defense being that improved based on their off-season acquisitions or their draft." I just heard the replay of this and it is absolute bull****. For anyone who didn't hear the entire thing they discussed the AFC first and Parcells said Buffalo would be down because they lost three great playmakers on defense and said the Fletcher loss was important. Then five minutes later he says we made no good offseason defensive acquisitions. He is talking out of both sides of his mouth, what a hypocrite! hkHog
Did they go in detail about the rest of the teams or was it just in detail with us? They went into detail with all 32 teams.
SkinsManNJ
What do you expect from 2 Cowboys. They are still bitter about the 35-7 whooping we put on them. So they take it out in the media.
RenegadeTK
wow.... both toolbags. parcells got more credit for his off the field antics when he came back than his actualy coaching. kj was cut after his team got the WR he was lobbying for at least jimmy johnson can be critical and unbias when he talks about the skins
UltimateSkinsFan
Any chance that Gibbs gets wind of this? Personally, I think it would be great motivation for Joe. He always had hard fought wars with Tuna anyway. With Fatboy saying something like this...I think it would be just more wood for the fire. Any chance we could get this posted on the locker room board??! :dallasuck :eaglesuck :gaintsuck Justin aka UltimateSkinsFan (Proud son of a WWII ETO Vet - Member: Greatest Generation)
ashsra
Parcells is just picking up a paycheck, and Keyshawn's just mad because we weren't interested in him after he got cut by Carolina. The Tuna's just basically repeating junk from last year, I mean even Scouts, Inc. says we should have one of the best secondaries in the league. There's no legitimate argument to put the Giants in front of the Redskins, making Parcells picking of them a total homer pick.

scruffylookin
Hey Parcells, so exactly how many games have you won without Bill Belichick again? Oh yeah, not many. I don't really care what two failures from Dallas have to say about the prospects for the Redskins upcoming season.
kingfish50
Mort just hosted a radio portion on ESPN asking Parcells and Keyshawn to give their take on the league. They started in the NFC East: (thank Tivo for the direct quotes)Parcells: "Well, to me, Chris and Key, the NFC East is a 3-team race. I don't think Washington defensively or the uncertainty at QB with Campbell... I just don't think they'll be able to compete with these other teams. I think they'll win games, I think they'll keep games close, but they gave up an awful lot of points last year and I don't see their defense being that improved based on their off-season acquisitions or their draft. So I think they'll be in the four spot." Keyshawn: "The Redskins, on the other hand, I think they are still trying to figure out how to play football. You have an owner there who can't stay out the mix, continuing to get involved. And I think that Joe Gibbs at this point and time, probably just wants to get this football season over with. Young quarterback, they don't want Brunell around, they don't want him to be the starter, bunch of young wide receivers that are small, not young, but smallish wide receivers. Their secondary and their defense isn't that great, they have a defensive coordinator that can get the job done. But they don't have the personnel that he needs and the players and the talent around him to be that defense that it was a long time ago in Buffalo or even a couple years ago in Washington." Nothing like 2 Bozo's giving us thier well informed and researched opinion..........

I especially like the fact that our Defense is projected by both of these "professionals" to perform the same as last year because it failed to improve and does not have the players. It is hilarious to me that the addition of a solid MLB, recovering from the injuries last year, the additons of corner Fred Smoot and the pick of Landry will have no effect whatsoever on this years defense. Why are these guys being paid for their opinions when they are so uneducated?
paul55
That's the biggest bunch of crap I've heard this off season. I say good let them think that. It just means when we kick butt it will that much sweeter for us.

Jbank31
That juggernaut that is the Dallas Cowboys sure looked great at the end of the season when they needed to beat the Detroit Lions for the division and fell flat on their faces. The great Tony Romo sits to pee put up six whole points. I can see where all the optimism comes from. If I were a Cowboys fan I'd be thinking Superbowl too. Oh as long as they don't have to play the Lions at home for the NFC Championship game. A bunch of overhyped players with no offensive line and noone that can cover. But they have that tricky Wade Phillips 3-4 defense....

Ok.. then from the great defense we had 2-3 years ago whats the difference in personell? I know we added bunch of new guys now. We added Landry, Fletcher, Carter, and young players who are more developed Rogers and Taylor. So these additonal developement on our team cant outweight the loss of Pierce and Arrington? Makes you wonder....
