I hate them Cowturds, their inbred fans, an anything else associated with them. But they're only expressing comments that other critics will be saying by next weeks end. Our Skins are given no respect. A 5-11 season will do that. A receiver in the #2 spot unable to get at least one TD in the season will do that. All three teams in our division at least tasting the post season while we sit in last place will do that. Our Skins need to put all that crap to rest, take that smile off our detractors face's and just plain win a game. Every game. It starts with a big win over Miami, but we need to beat those Eagles and Giants. Badly. :eaglesuck :gaintsuck

I think they were confused

they meant Dallas, not Washington :)

actually, I think it is good they don't believe we can win, the more people doubt the better we play

I never understand why people say this. People doubted us last year and we were 5-11.

Lets break this down.

Parcells:

"Well, to me, Chris and Key, the NFC East is a 3-team race The entire division I think is up for grabs. I don't think Washington defensively Defense is vastly improved with Fletcher, Smoot, McIntosh, and Landry. or the uncertainty at QB with Campbell Campbell has been solid, but will time a little time for him to mature ... I just don't think they'll be able to compete with these other teams. Don't understand this logic at all I think they'll win games, I think they'll keep games close, but they gave up an awful lot of points last year Last year was last year. Last year you were coaching and now you are not and I don't see their defense being that improved based on their off-season acquisitions The two major additions, Fletcher and Smoot, and McIntosh have solidified the defense, especially Fletcher or their draft Landry has been better than advertised and Blades looks to be a quality backup. So I think they'll be in the four spot."

Keyshawn:

"The Redskins, on the other hand, I think they are still trying to figure out how to play football This is coming from a guy who retired because no one wanted him. You have an owner there who can't stay out the mix, continuing to get involved I believe Snyder has been quiet and let Gibbs run this team, but he will never out live his prior actions. And I think that Joe Gibbs at this point and time, probably just wants to get this football season over with. Where the hell did he pull this from? Young quarterback, they don't want Brunell around Gibbs wants him, but wants Campbell to the present and future of the franchise, they don't want him to be the starter, bunch of young wide receivers that are small, not young He just contradicted himself, but smallish wide receivers. Their secondary There are only a couple of teams that can rival the secondary like Springs, Rogers, Smoot, Taylor, and Landry and their defense isn't that great The D-line is not great. That is all., they have a defensive coordinator that can get the job done Finally, he gets something right. But they don't have the personnel that he needs Besides a pass rusher on the line, what else does he need? and the players and the talent around him to be that defense that it was a long time ago in Buffalo or even a couple years ago in Washington. Is he seeing the same defense we are?"

My thing is that do they even watch preseason along with looking at roster moves? I guess not. This is just another example of analysts not doing their homework. It is too bad that people that seem to have some sort of talent show themselves to be less credible when you don't actually look at the talent and how they do on the field. I know it is the preseason, but there are certain things people can tell from watching a preseason game. Our Defense was not as bad as parcells stated, and the offense while it did struggle in some games actually was fairly productive.

Your analysis was dead on. You should work for ESPN. OH wait you don't like the cowboys so that won't work. Good analysis of nit wit commentators that ESPN trots out. When you said are they seeing the samethings we are? I would say no. They are probably not even looking at the games. I think that is the problem with the national media is that they go off what they see last year. Look at stupid Peter King. The guy ranked 500 players and a redskins player doesn't make it until early 120? Just goes to show what the national people don't know.

Well, that's a load of unsupported crap. Have either of them paid ANY attention to what the Redskins are doing? I sure doesn't seem like it. They entitled to their opinion, but for journalists/commentators they seem terribly uninformed and not at all like they've put any thought into what they said.

Then again, they are Cowboys. What do you expect?

Well, having two former brokeback butt pirates analyze the Redskins is comical. I can't wait for the season to start. Cowboy fans just need to enjoy this last week of fantasy, because reality is about visit. Seriously, I'll be very surprised if Dallas goes to the playoffs. I would be shocked if they win a playoff game. I mean, Wade Phillips? Come on.

I never understand why people say this. People doubted us last year and we were 5-11.

Not too many doubted us last year...in fact, some had us as Super Bowl contenders while others in the media claimed the Skins were either the 3rd or 4th best team in the NFC. Compare that to 2005 when practically everyone in the media had us at 5-11 or worse, and last place in the NFC East.

let Parcells bring his ass back to DC anytime, Gibbs looking across the field at him is all we need to get a fire lit.

I want this posted on our defense's bulliten board every week, that is not doubting that is plain insulting!

Anyone who thinks the skins-boys rivalry is dead must be living under a rock. Parcells is clearly still bitter about 3 of the last 4. And no ordinary three games, the three most heartbreaking games of his return to coaching were all at the hands of THE WASHINGTON REDSKINS.

Keyshawn is probably illiterate too, no teleprompter necessary
