mikachu
i kept on hearing someone with a bullhorn at the Steelers game. I'm surprised they let the person in with that thing. I didn't think they were supposed to have anything like that. now i've seen people with the beer bottle and change noise makers and that seems to be alright. meek
I'm not sure whether the rules vary by the team or the league but while you can't get into RFK with so much as a party favor for a Nats game, you'd have no problem bringing flags, drums, probably even a canon into RFK for a DC United game. We have Dan Snyder to thank for that, as always. Guards will take away any bottled water or granola bars from you, and likely won't allow you to bring baby formula into the stadium either. I'm surprised they don't dump handicapped people out of their wheelchairs and force them to buy one with a Redskins logo on it in order to gain admittance. Or rip the oxygen cords out of those inhalers some people use unless they cough up the $$$ for season tickets.
21KO
I've always thought that dead silence would rattle a team worse that anything. Impossible, yes....but it would like totally freak them out, dude.

mcarey032
I think that you can probably bring in something to the game. Once a couple of my friends and I went down to Charlotte for the Redskins Panthers game and they allowed us to bring in kazoos. We played Hail to the Redskins when the Redskins scored TDS. It was pretty cool because he had a lot of the redskins band there as well. Unfortunately we lost that game based on that bogus touchdown that stephen davis got! Thats the smartest thing I have heard, but I didn't actually hear it so it must have been artifical.

From a roar to a tomb-like silence. No one moving. Crickets. Distant traffic. The hum of the blimp. A lineman farts.
meek
Dude, I have taken food, drinks, cushions, umbrellas, etc into Nats games. None of those items make noise, though. I might be wrong (I don't have a whole lot of experience trying) but I'm pretty sure the Nats won't let you bring in any of the noise makers. Put 3-4 pennies in an empty beer bottle makes an unbelievable amount of noise. I usually bring in a roll of pennies and pass them out to people in my section. What a racket.
