Some Dallas fans have stated that the games w/ the Colts, Broncos, etc. was NOT meaningful, just players performance for ex. Ken. My argument is, usually winning = better performances from the players, MOST OF THE TIME, not all the time. And you see what Skins24 tried to say but it didn't help his argument, so he may be on vacation now, don't know b/c he never came back.

On topic now. I think that everyone in this thread with at least half a brain, skins and puke fans included, would agree that the win loss record of the preseason is meaningless. The fact that a team wins or loses a preseason game means nothing for any team. What matters is how the team played, there chemistry, if any injuries happened, and who wins position battles.

Actually the thread topic is about how Dallas fans SEEM to come around alot less after preseason losses and it was more of a question the way I read it.

maybe you should start your own thread about if preseason wins and losses are what matters to fans. Better yet, don't, just keep trying to hijack this thread.

We all know that wins and losses in preseason don't mean much but I would rather see my team win in any season b/c usually that means my team performed better than the oppenents.

Now when injuries start to occur than my concerns turn to my teams depth and I want those guys to step in and perform well and do their best to win the game.

Even though it may not count in the record books, you learn alot about players that perform well, even in meaningless preseason games.

you can't judge reg season w/ the preseason results. Just look at history. We may not be as good as we Skins fans may want or expect, but we won't be as bad as Dallas fans are hoping either. As long as we can pull out another W by 1 pt. thats all that matters to me. I don't care if we have negative yds, as long as we get the W.

And its preseason Bubba, no one cares about wins and loses, only player performance....and i do believe every Dallas fan i know is concerned about the way the Cowboys played in the Houston game, but we still think that we have a fairly good (possible) playoff team.....

Your right, Dallas does have a (possible) playoff team, but so does everybody else at this point in preseason. Losing Ellis and Newman for any significant time will reduce the possible to unlikely imho.
