lol Sorry thats just weak. Chose not to beat em? umm yeah..ummm ok. I don't think any respectable coach would go out to the press and say that. Even if there was a shred of truth to it. Work on the running game...ummm ok, I can kinda see that, you see coaches tweak things all the time during pre-season, but stating it the way he did...just wrong.

Wade Phillips is all that matters. He always loses rivalry games.

When he coached Denver he was 0-5 vs the Raiders and got beat by an average score of 34-20. Mile high advantage? Hardly. :laugh:

Denver hates the Raiders but he got blown the **** out.

He was 1-3 vs Parcells in Jets/Bills games when he had a good team in Buffalo.

He's never won a Playoff game. He's lost 3 of them though. At least he has the experience he will need while coaching Dallas. All they do is lose Post November.

You might win some games but don't get excited yet. :2cents:

It is a good thing you don't care, by the looks of it caring alone won't change the inevitable=other teams throwing downfield for huge gains. The above statement is dumb and outright homeristic. You are really going to sit there and say it does not matter who starts at corner you'll see=sounds like second grade school yard talk to me, wake up the Wade Love Fest 2007 is about to begin befoe it is over, ah wait, it's almost over-you'll see soon enough. :laugh: :doh: :laugh: :doh: :laugh:

Funny how so much of last year's secondary problems were put on the Anthony Henry's health by Poke fans but now it doesn't matter who they put out there.

That was the claim also by many Redskins fans after the Patriots pre-season game last year where we got absolutely killed.

Now, I think what wade is saying is pure BS - but we say the same thing at times here as 'Skins fans when our team looses.

What does shock me is that it was their coach that said this. Usually it is just fans coming up with BS excuses - strange to see a coach do it.

The point is that anybody could gameplan to win a preseason game. What Wade is missing is that the Texans didn't gameplan to stop the Dallas offense either. They were doing the exact same thing as you. So, yeah, there were things there you could have done but so what they could have too. They beat you mano y mano in your dress rehearsal.

You partially answered your own question with your last paragraph. Ouvan completed the answer - of course they could have exploited some things, but the Titans probably could have, also.

The fact that the head coach felt compelled to publicly state this is incredibly alarming and shows that he is more than a little nervous and insecure. It's almost downright panicky.

No Redskins fan claimed that after the Pats game last year

That claim was made after the Rams preseason game in 2004, where it was completely obvious what was going on

The Pats game last year was obvious that the Redskins D got sliced and diced apart

Is it just me or does Wade read this board. We make fun of him for being a *****, and he shadow boxes, yells at a couple of scrubs and cuts a 3rd TE.

We make fun of him for gameplanning in the pre-season and he comes out and says he didn't try to win...

It is just me or is this season looking funnier and funnier for the Cowboys?

no it's called i am not going to bi*ch and moan about injuries...you clowns make sure you show your face after the skins/cowboys lock up...all the hoping and wishing and prognasticating is false bravado...and it will not be long until the inevitable will take place...it is beyond laughable that a team coming off a 5-11 season...a season where you defense set NFL records for futility would INITIATE a fight...it's like starting a gun fight with a pocket knife

if we have numerous questions everywhere...what exactly does a team that has ONE winning season this decade have? what exactly does a team that is like 4-16 against a team have? this is what I mean laughable...and like I said...with this as the back drop you cats INITIATE the battle!!!!!! there are plenty of articles about the Cowboys...you post the one's that allow you to pursue an agenda...how obvious is that?

  • Secondary, cannot be any worse.
  • Oline, should be much improved from last season.
  • When they wern't vanilla we executed. Go back to the draw, draw, draw didn't do so well.
  • Rb, I'd take Barber over 2/3 of the NFL's backs.
  • QB, Romo sits to pee is going to be fine. He may not be Peyton, but sure is hell better than Drew.

What part of being on a Redskins board as a Cowboys fan don't you understand? We KNOW we have questions. Our left side of the line is banged up. Campbell needs to show improvement. Portis has been banged up. Springs now too. Their 1st team offense has not looked good this preseason. However, how many Redskin fans are going to Cowboys board and starting ****?

All you do my friend is come here and gloat about how great the Cowboys are going to be. They were a 9-7 mediocre team last year. Their secondary is in shambles, they will be a joke if Glenn has to start for any significant period of time. They have two 33+ WRs and not much behind them. Their line is questionable, their running game is questionable. Phillips is already making lame excuses. Those are a lot of legitimate questions that you continue to turn a blind eye to.

So when the Cowboys lose, I don't expect to see you around here. Nor will you be missed.

i will be here...and again, these articles are POSTED by REDSKINS fans...from the DALLAS papers...so I am responding to the barbs you toss at DALLAS articles REDSKIN fans post...and show me one thread when I gloat about how great the Cowboys are going to be...SKINS fans gloat about how bad the COWBOYS are going to suck because you are scared to death that they might not...and all I am saying is the Skins/Cowboys can't lock horns soon enough...

Should and will are two different words. I am not sold on any of the Cowboy linemen, and none would start at the same position on the Skins line.

If the running game doesn't get going, teams will be able to pin their ears back, really test that line, and get after Romo sits to pee, who has the propensity to turn the ball over.

I do like Marion Barber, but he needs to show he can be a #1 back.

QB, Romo sits to pee is going to be fine. He may not be Peyton, but sure is hell better than Drew.

And he's better then Brad Johnson too, but as I said before, he needs to cut back on the turnovers (threw Ints at the same rate as Joey Harrington, and turned the ball over at the same rate as Rex Grossman).

I am not sure if I want the Cowboys to not win a playoff game this year. I would get more satisfaction beating them in the NFC Championship game, like we have twice before

Although I do enjoy the fact the Cowboys have not won a playoff game since before the Monica Lewinsky scandal

when is the last time the Redskins won a super bowl.....keep waiting for the nfl to go on strike....that is you best chance
