bubba9497
http://video1.washingtontimes.com/redskins/ click link for full article Pinkston apparently done [David Elfin] It's hard to shake a reputation; just ask Todd Pinkston. Signed by the Redskins on Aug. 13, the receiver, who hadn't played in a regular season game since rupturing an Achilles' tendon in the summer of 2005, arrived with a reputation as one of the NFL's softest receivers. Former Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann famously talked about Pinkston having "alligator arms" during his time in Philadelphia and the description stuck. More than one Redskin mentioned that phrase when discussing Pinkston during his time in Washington which apparently ended on Sunday. Sources told me that Pinkston, who didn't get on the field in either preseason game during his tenure, wasn't in meetings today because he had been released the previous day. Ellis
LOL! I don't think there's a single person on this board or on the coaching staff that didn't say "huh?" when they announced he was signed to the Skins. Maybe this was a joke the whole time. At least... I hope it was.

Truant
Was this a favor from Vinny to Lenny? Never made any sense and it shouldn't surprise anyone. We do seem light on WRs, I wonder if Bradford gets the 5th WR spot by default? Any of the young WRs show any potential? Too bad about Espy, but we should be able to get a decent WR from another team as cuts are made.

SonnyJ
It was an embarrassment that we signed him in the first place I echo that sentiment exactly. I'm embarrassed that you all are embarrassed about signing someone who was obviously just another WR body, quite possibly selected as a favor to someone, and had no realistic chance at sticking on the team. It's embarrassing that this wasn't painfully clear to anyone who "thinks" and you all got your panties in a wad over it.
