China
http://sunearth.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse/LEmono/TLE2007Aug28/TLE2007Aug28.html A total eclipse of the Moon occurs during the early morning of Tuesday, August 28, 2007. The event is widely visible from the United States and Canada as well as South America, the Pacific Ocean, western Asia and Australia. During a total lunar eclipse, the Moon's disk can take on a dramatically colorful appearance from bright orange to blood red to dark brown and (rarely) very dark gray. An eclipse of the Moon can only take place at Full Moon, and only if the Moon passes through some portion of Earth's shadow. The shadow is actually composed of two cone-shaped parts, one nested inside the other. The outer shadow or penumbra is a zone where Earth blocks some (but not all) of the Sun's rays. In contrast, the inner shadow or umbra is a region where Earth blocks all direct sunlight from reaching the Moon.
Corcaigh
For the East Coast, I think the Moon will have set by the end of the eclipse, and sunrise will have washed it out before then. This is a better event for the folks in the west.

We had a good lunar eclipse in October of 2004. The moon was a really great bloody orange shade.

It only got to a burnt yellow/orange from here. too much light pollution from the beach houses

Kilmer17
Kind of lame, I took a pic, but it looks like a regular moon with a sunrise coloring it. The coffee was good though!
SkinnedAussie
The lunar eclipse is all over down here. Nothing spectacular, as these seem to be a regular thing lately. Fortunately, we had a clear night for it (it reached it's 'peak' appearance about 4 hours ago), but couldn't get any decent photos.

Up here clouds ruined it. For the East Coast, sunrise washed out the color. The folks in the West had a much better show.

88Comrade2000
We had a total eclipse around 6am and went to asleep. Didn't get the red but Didn't stay up to see if it went red. It was still pretty cool. Don't think I has seen one since the 80's.
