SkinsTerps26
I got creamed a few months back for suggesting an additional 17th game in which the NFC and AFC would play regional "rival" games. Note to everyone: I'm not really advocating having that discussion again! After seeing that a lot of the wk 3 preseason games were among regional teams, (skins-ravens, chargers-cardinals, dallas, texans, bucs-dolphins, jets-giants, eagles-steelers for example) I was just wondering what teams in each conference seem like more natural rivals, or have the possibility of being rivals b/c of location/great recent games/cultural differences.... anything... here's what i figure are pretty obvious from a regional point of view. Skins - Ravens Rams - Chiefs 49ers - Raiders Giants - Jets Eagles - Steelers Bucs - Dolphins Bears - Colts Cardinals - Chargers Lions - Browns Cowboys - Texans The Rest is tricky: Minnesota - Seattle - Atlanta - New Orleans- Green Bay- Carolina Buffalo New England Cinncinati Denver Tennessee Jacksonville Carolina - Jacksonville remind me of when both teams made it to the conferences championships after 2 seasons in the league... but im pretty much blanking on the rest. If you guys have any thoughts/additions go ahead and post away.

I'd put Bucs/Jaguars. Falcons/Titans. :helmet:
HitStickTaylor21
The Rest is tricky:Minnesota - Seattle - Atlanta - New Orleans- Green Bay- Carolina Buffalo New England Cinncinati Denver Tennessee Jacksonville Atlanta-Tennessee works, it would have been a good Young-Vick rivalry too until Vick decided to be an idiot. Buffalo-NYG. Upstate vs. The City. New Orleans-Houston. Just a Texas-Louisiana thing. Those states are huge college football recruiting rivals. New England-NYG. Boston-New York kind of rivalry even though there is already the Jets. Jacksonville-Tampa Bay is good for me. They are pretty close geographically. Denver-Seattle are the closest geographic, out-of-conference opponents for each other, but not much else brings them together. I'm out.

Riggins77
Living in Charlotte, I can tell you that most of the fans hate Jacksonville and vice versa due to both entering the league as expansion teams at the same time, both having instant success in year two of their existance and going to their conference championship game. I would say, those two match up or New England/Carolina, because they play them in most pre-seasons and they got beat by the Pats in the Superbowl. Around here, they act like beating the Pats in pre-season means something. It's pathetic.
